Common use of Informal Stage Clause in Contracts

Informal Stage. If an Occasional Teacher who is covered by this agreement has a grievance the Occasional Teacher shall discuss the complaint with the principal, where applicable. Such complaint shall be brought in writing to the attention of the principal within thirty working days of the incident giving rise to the grievance. The principal shall attempt to resolve the dispute informally and shall give his or her decision, in writing, within ten working days of receiving the grievance.
