Common use of Informal Stage Clause in Contracts

Informal Stage. Prior to the filing of a grievance, the parties shall endeavour to informally resolve the issue(s). If a satisfactory settlement cannot be reached at this stage the matter shall, within fourteen (14) days of the parties' attempt to reach an informal resolution, be submitted as a grievance in the manner set out in (c) below.
