Informal Conferences. When a Xxxx has concerns about an adjunct employee based on measures other than observations of instruction, the Xxxx (or designee) may discuss these concerns with the adjunct employee and suggest strategies to improve performance. Such measures include, but are not limited to, Student Opinionnaires of Instruction (SOIs), verbal or written complaints, and or personal observations. Though SOIs are recognized as helpful tools for professional growth and reflection, SOIs will not be used as the sole method to evaluate the pedagogical effectiveness of an adjunct employee.
Informal Conferences. The Union and the Employer encourage periodic informal evaluation conferences between the employee and his/her supervisor to discuss work performance, job satisfaction, work-related problems and the work environment. If work performance problems are identified, the supervisor shall offer constructive suggestions and shall attempt to aid the employee in resolving the problem.
Informal Conferences. The parties are encouraged to meet prior to filing the written grievance and work to resolve disputes.

The Superintendent and such other Board representatives as the Board or the Superintendent may designate will meet informally, upon request of either Party in writing, on such days and at such times as may be mutually agreed upon with representatives of the Association for the purpose of discussing problems of mutual concern.
Informal Conferences. The Superintendent, and such other Board representative as the Board or the Superintendent may designate, will meet informally once a month on a regular schedule as mutually agreed upon with the Association for the purpose of discussing problems of mutual concern. (Additional meetings may occur as are mutually agreed.) These informal discussions shall involve mutual exchange of suggestions and ideas and shall not be considered negotiations. The sole purpose of these conferences is to provide communication between the Board and the Association, informally to gain insights and better understandings between the parties and to promote closer cooperation in all relationships concerning this Agreement.

The MCU and the District encourage periodic informal evaluation conferences between the employee and his/her Supervisor to discuss work performance, job satisfaction, work-related problems and the work environment. If work performance problems are identified, the Supervisor shall attempt to offer constructive suggestions to aid the employee in resolving the problem.

The Superintendent and such other representatives as the Board or Superintendent may designate will meet informally within five (5) days of a request by the Association, on a date mutually agreed upon with members of the Association for the purpose of discussing administrative concerns. These informal discussions shall in no sense be considered negotiations.

Informal conferences may be held at any mutually agreed time between members of the instructional staff and their principal or immediate supervisor concerning issues of program operations including individual responsibilities. The parties to this agreement encourage these informal conferences to be held.
