Common use of INDUCTION GENERATORS Clause in Contracts

INDUCTION GENERATORS. If the Seller's Facility includes an induction-type generator(s), the Seller shall provide individual power factor correction capacitors for each such generator. Such capacitors shall be switched on and off simultaneously with each of the associated induction-type generator(s) of the Facility. The kVAr rating of such capacitors shall be the highest standard value which will not exceed such generators' no-load kVAr requirement. The Seller shall pay the Buyer, at prevailing rates approved by the Authority, the cost for all energy consumed from the Buyer to excite the induction generators, unless such energy is netted from that sold hereunder. Such payment shall be made as provided in Article 5.
