Individualized Education Program. (IEP) Team The special education supervisor will try to schedule IEP meetings so that teachers whose duties would be impacted by the IEP will have the opportunity to participate. The teacher can also request a meeting with the special education supervisor to review the IEP and/or the placement of the student. If a teacher believes that a student’s placement is inappropriate, the IEP team will be reconvened to discuss the placement and to reach a resolution.
Individualized Education Program. A written statement for a student with a disability that is developed, reviewed, and revised in accordance with the regulations promulgated under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Report To Duty - Actual presence for the purpose of performing duties on a scheduled workday, or notification of illness with the intent to return to work when health permits. Shall - Mandatory Scheduled Base - That salary earned by a teacher with no years of experience and a Baccalaureate degree only. Individualized Education Program. In compliance with federal and state law, an Individualized Education Program (IEP) multidisciplinary team will be established as set forth by IDEA and comprised of the student’s general education teacher, a special education teacher, a district representative, parents, the student when appropriate, and, if deemed of value, other knowledgeable persons. The team is responsible for developing the IEP, determining placement, and reviewing and revising the student’s IEP and placement at least annually. A certificated teacher, or an educational assistant under his/her guidance, will provide services in an inclusion or a pullout model depending on the degree of intervention necessary to meet the student’s needs. The appropriate personnel will consult with the general education staff to utilize effective classroom interventions, adaptations, and modifications.
Individualized Education Program. Effective July 1, 2022, in the event an Individualized Education Program (IEP) meeting extends forty-five minutes past a unit member’s workday, the Unit Member may timecard any additional time beyond the forty-five minutes at the Hourly Instructional Rate. A unit member’s workday is defined in Article IX – Section A. The Etiwanda School District is committed to providing an outstanding educational program for all students. Towards that goal, the district will, at a minimum, comply with any minimum number of instructional days or minutes required by law.
Individualized Education Program. Determinations about eligibility, special education and related services under the IDEA and relevant state statutes are made generally by the child’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) team. (See generally Cal. Ed. Code secs. 56340- 56347.) Such determinations are always based upon the unique needs of the individual child. The term “individualized education program” (IEP) means a written statement for each child with a disability that is developed, reviewed, and revised in accordance with 20 USC section 141 4(d). As a part of each IEP, there must be “a statement of the special education and related services and supplementary aids and services, based on peer-reviewed research to the extent practicable, to be provided to the child, or on behalf of the child, and a statement of the program modifications or supports for school personnel that will be provided for the child. ” (20 USC sec. 1414(d)(1)(A)(i)(IV)) in school and in extracurricular and other nonacademic activities. The 2006 implementing regulations are located at 34 CFR sections 300.320 through 300.328.

Individualized Education Program. The Charter School shall be responsible for arranging all necessary IEP meetings. The Charter School shall be responsible for providing adequate meeting rooms at the Charter School, having all necessary members of the IEP team in attendance. Team membership shall be in compliance with state and federal law and shall include the designated representative of the Charter School (or designee). Further, the Charter School responsibilities shall include appropriate documentation of the IEP meeting and the provision of parent rights, as required by law.

Individualized Education Program. The District agrees to make every effort within the limitations of state and federal law to ensure that IEP meetings not occur beyond the workday. The District and unit member shall make best efforts to schedule IEP meetings within the unit member’s regular duty day.
Individualized Education Program. Whenever possible, the District shall schedule IEP meetings to occur during the regular workday. Whenever possible, these meetings should be scheduled no later than one (1) hour before the end of the regular workday. If the IEP meeting goes beyond contractual hours, all Unit Members in attendance will be provided a time card and compensated at the hourly rate. The District shall provide substitute(s) as needed for the release of special education and general education teacher(s) when required to attend IEP meetings during regular instructional hours.
