Common use of Individual Coverage Clause in Contracts

Individual Coverage. The school district, effective January 1, 2020, shall contribute a sum not to exceed $595 per month toward the cost of the premium for individual coverage for each eligible employee employed by the school district who qualifies for and is enrolled in the school district’s health and hospitalization plan. Any additional cost of the premium shall be borne by the employee and paid by payroll deduction. This subdivision shall not apply to those eligible employees who select coverage under the high deductible health plan described in Subdivision 3. Effective January 1, 2021, the school district shall contribute a sum not to exceed $595 per month toward the cost of the premium for individual coverage for each eligible employee employed by the school district who qualifies for and is enrolled in the school district’s health and hospitalization plan. Any additional cost of the premium shall be borne by the employee and paid by payroll deduction. This subdivision shall not apply to those eligible employees who select coverage under the high deductible health plan described in Subdivision 3.
