Independent Contractor Relationship. A. The Parties intend that an independent Service Provider/City relationship will be created by this Agreement. No agent, employee, or representative of the Service Provider shall be deemed to be an employee, agent, or representative of the City for any purpose, and the employees of the Service Provider are not entitled to any of the benefits the City provides for its employees. The Service Provider will be solely and entirely responsible for its acts and for the acts of its agents, employees, subcontractors or representatives during the performance of this Agreement.
