Common use of Inalienability of Benefits Clause in Contracts

Inalienability of Benefits. No interest, right or claim in or to any part of the Custodial Account, nor any assets held therein or benefits held therein shall be subject to alienation, assignment, garnishment, attachment, execution or levy of any kind, and any attempt to cause any such interest, right, claim, assets or benefits to be so subjected shall not be recognized, except to the extent as may be required by law, such as an IRS levy on the IRA to pay overdue taxes.
