IN-SERVICE TRAININGS. The Employer agrees that a period of time will be made available before or after each in- service training meeting, or before or after any scheduled break during the training, but not beyond normal office working hours, for Union Advocates and/or Union representatives to address members of the bargaining unit. Management or supervisory personnel may not be present unless mutually agreed to by the Union and the Employer. Such meetings shall not disrupt the in-service schedule, have a maximum duration of thirty (30) minutes, and shall be conducted in accordance with Article 20: Dignity and Respect. For Union meetings held under this section, the Employer agrees to inform the Union of regular in-service training dates, times and locations one month (30 days) in advance and other in-service training dates, times and locations as far in advance as practicable. The Union must inform the branch manager of its desire to address the bargaining unit members at a scheduled in-service training two (2) days in advance. The Employer shall provide the Union with an electronic list of expected participants at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the meeting.

If held after work hours, employees shall be compensated at their regular rates of pay. IN-SERVICE TRAININGS. The Deaf 101 presentation increases participant’s awareness of the nature and impact of hearing loss for the child in the mainstream classroom. It guides participants to an understanding of the unique language, communication, social and emotion and assistive technology needs that a student with hearing loss requires to be successful. Practical strategies that impact learning and teaching and a collaborative approach to meeting the needs of deaf and hard of hearing students are presented. In-service trainings of different topics are also available and custom designed around the needs of the district. IN-SERVICE TRAININGS. In-service as required by the district, state, or federal requirements, will be scheduled during working hours with substitutes provided as needed. If held after work hours, employees shall be compensated at their regular rates of pay and including overtime pay, if applicable. Specific workgroup or bargaining unit training requests from SEIU shall be discussed in Labor Management.
IN-SERVICE TRAININGS. 9.7.1 The District agrees to provide employee training in concepts of safety in compliance with state and federal OSHA regulations.

  • INSERVICE TRAINING 633. The City agrees to institute inservice training for represented employees by mutual agreement. Training may include, but is not limited to, instruction that will qualify for required CE credits, certificate and license requirements as required for continued employment in the employee's current classification. Required attendance shall be considered a duty assignment for purposes of payment of salary.

  • Routing for Operator Services and Directory Assistance Traffic For a Verizon Telecommunications Service dial tone line purchased by MLTC for resale pursuant to the Resale Attachment, upon request by MLTC, Verizon will establish an arrangement that will permit MLTC to route the MLTC Customer’s calls for operator and directory assistance services to a provider of operator and directory assistance services selected by MLTC. Verizon will provide this routing arrangement in accordance with, but only to the extent required by, Applicable Law. Verizon will provide this routing arrangement pursuant to an appropriate written request submitted by MLTC and a mutually agreed-upon schedule. This routing arrangement will be implemented at MLTC's expense, with charges determined on an individual case basis. In addition to charges for initially establishing the routing arrangement, MLTC will be responsible for ongoing monthly and/or usage charges for the routing arrangement. MLTC shall arrange, at its own expense, the trunking and other facilities required to transport traffic to MLTC’s selected provider of operator and directory assistance services.

  • CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITY FOR SYSTEM AGENCY’S TERMINATION COSTS If the System Agency terminates the Contract for cause, the Contractor shall be responsible to the System Agency for all costs incurred by the System Agency and the State of Texas to replace the Contractor. These costs include, but are not limited to, the costs of procuring a substitute vendor and the cost of any claim or litigation attributable to Contractor’s failure to perform any Work in accordance with the terms of the Contract.
