IMPACT OF CLASSIFICATION BOARD DECISIONS AND SETTLEMENTS. A classification decision or recommendation of a classification board shall not constitute a binding precedent regarding the internal comparability of a position reviewed or grieved to positions not subject to the original classification review and grievance. Nothing herein shall prevent the settlement of a classification grievance at any point in the process.

  • New Classifications If a new classification is created within the bargaining unit, the Employer agrees to meet with the Union and negotiate a rate of pay for this new classification.
