Illness/Disability Sample Clauses

Illness/Disability. An employee who is unable to work because of a personal illness or disability and who has exhausted accumulated sick leave may be granted an unpaid leave of absence of up to one (1) year for the purpose of recovery from such illness or disability. Employees eligible for leave under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) will be granted unpaid leave for the purposes and to the extent required by that statute.

Illness/Disability. If during the term of Employee's employment hereunder Employee shall be prevented, in the Company's judgement, from effectively performing all his duties hereunder by reason of illness or disability, then the Company may on 90 days' written notice terminate Employee's employment hereunder. Upon delivery to Employee of such notice, together with payment of any salary accrued under Article 1.03 hereof, Employee's employment and all obligations of the Company under Article 1 hereof, shall forthwith terminate.
Illness/Disability. If during the term of Employee's employment hereunder Employee shall be prevented, in the company's judgment, from effectively performing all his duties hereunder by reason of illness or disability, then the Company may, by written notice to Employee, terminate Employee's employment hereunder. Such request must be made by June 30. The employee, upon returning to the school system, will be placed on the next succeeding step on the salary schedule.

Illness/Disability. A. In accordance with the provision of Revised Code, Section 3319.13, the Board of Education shall grant a leave of absence for a period not exceeding two (2) successive school years where illness or other disability is the reason for the request. This provision is not intended to limit other requirements of Section 3319.13 as they affect bargaining unit bargaining unit members. The Board reserves the right to have a physician of their choice examine such bargaining unit member prior to his return to work.
Illness/Disability. 10.1 Subject to applicable law, Employer may terminate this Employment Agreement due to undue hardship to the Employer, subject to one month’s written notice effective from the end of a month, if, due to illness or disability, the EXECUTIVE has been unable to perform the obligations as ICEO during a consecutive period of two months or in total three months within a period of 12 months. In such event, the EXECUTIVE shall receive, as severance compensation, the salary provided for in this Agreement through a date that is 24 months after the Effective Date of this Agreement, provided that on or before the 30th day following the termination of employment, the EXECUTIVE has signed a Severance Agreement and Release substantially in the form attached hereto as Schedule D, or in a form as otherwise reasonably may be presented by the Company or Successor Employer and it has become effective.
Illness/Disability. 9.1 In the event of illness in the sense of Book 7, Section 629 Dutch Civil Code, the Employee must report his illness to the Employer as soon as possible, but no later prior to 9.30 a.m. on the first day of illness. The Employee undertakes to comply with the rules related to reporting and monitoring in the case of illness, as adopted periodically by the Employer.
