IEP TEAM MEETINGS. An IEP team meeting shall be convened at least annually to evaluate: (1) the educational progress of each student placed with CONTRACTOR, including all state assessment results pursuant to the requirements of Education Code section 52052; (2) whether or not the needs of the student continue to be best met at the NPS; and (3) whether changes to the student’s IEP are necessary, including whether the student may be transitioned to a public school setting. (California Education Code sections 56366 (a) (2) (B) (i) and (ii)) and pursuant to California Education Code section 56345 (b) (4).) If the LEA student is to be transferred from a NPS setting into a regular class setting in a public school for any part of the school day, the IEP team shall document, if appropriate, a description of activities provided to integrate the student into the regular education program, including the nature of each activity as well as the time spent on the activity each day or week and a description of the activities provided to support the transition of the student from the special education program into the regular education program. Each student shall be allowed to provide confidential input to any representative of his or her IEP team. Except as otherwise provided in the Master Contract, CONTRACTOR and XXX shall participate in all IEP team meetings regarding students for whom ISAs have been or may be executed. At any time during the term of this Master Contract, the parent, the CONTRACTOR or the LEA may request a review of the student’s IEP, subject to all procedural safeguards required by law, including reasonable notice given to, and participation of, the CONTRACTOR in the meeting. Every effort shall be made to schedule IEP team meetings at a time and place that is mutually convenient to parent, CONTRACTOR and LEA. CONTRACTOR shall provide to LEA assessments and written assessment reports by service providers upon request and/or pursuant to LEA policy and procedures. It is understood that attendance at an IEP meeting is part of CONTRACTOR’S professional responsibility and is not a billable service under this Master Contract. It is understood that the CONTRACTOR shall utilize the approved electronic IEP system of the LEA for all IEP planning and progress reporting at the LEA’s discretion. If an LEA student is to be transferred from a nonpublic school setting into a regular class setting in a public school for any part of the school day, the IEP team shall document, if appropriate, a description of activities provided to integrate the student into the regular education program, including the nature of each activity as well as the time spent on the activity each day or week and a description of the activities provided to support the transition of the student from the special education program into the regular education program. The student shall not be prohibited from providing confidential input to any representative of his or her IEP team. The LEA (District or SELPA) may provide training for any CONTRACTOR to ensure access to the approved system. The CONTRACTOR shall maintain confidentiality of all IEP data on the approved system and shall protect the password requirements of the system. When a student dis-enrolls from the NPA, the NPA shall discontinue use of the approved system for that student.

  • Joint Meetings 10.1(a) Should either party desire to discuss with the other any matter affecting generally the relationship of the parties, a meeting of Union and management representatives shall be arranged upon request of either party.   • Progress Meetings The Engineer shall from time to time during the progress of the work confer with the State. The Engineer shall prepare and present such information as may be pertinent and necessary or as may be requested by the State in order to evaluate features of the work.

  • Project Managers; Meetings 10.1 Promptly following the Effective Date, each Party shall designate a Project Manager responsible for coordinating the Party’s Work and shall provide the other Party with a written notice containing the name and contact information of such Project Manager (“Project Manager”). In no event shall any Project Manager be authorized to amend or modify the provisions of this Agreement. Each Party may change its Project Manager, from time to time, by written notice to the other Party.

  • Meetings Meetings of the Trustees shall be held from time to time upon the call of the Chairman, if any, or the President or any two Trustees. Regular meetings of the Trustees may be held without call or notice at a time and place fixed by the By-Laws or by resolution of the Trustees. Notice of any other meeting shall be given by the Secretary and shall be delivered to the Trustees orally not less than 24 hours, or in writing not less than 72 hours, before the meeting, but may be waived in writing by any Trustee either before or after such meeting. The attendance of a Trustee at a meeting shall constitute a waiver of notice of such meeting except where a Trustee attends a meeting for the express purpose of objecting to the transaction of any business on the ground that the meeting has not been properly called or convened. Unless provided otherwise in this Declaration and except as required under the 1940 Act, any action of the Trustees may be taken at a meeting by vote of a majority of the Trustees present (a quorum being present) or without a meeting by written consent of a majority of the Trustees. Any committee of the Trustees, including an executive committee, if any, may act with or without a meeting. A quorum for all meetings of any such committee shall be one-third, but not less than two, of the members thereof. Unless provided otherwise in this Declaration, any action of any such committee may be taken at a meeting by vote of a majority of the members present (a quorum being present) or without a meeting by written consent of all of the members. With respect to actions of the Trustees and any committee of the Trustees, Trustees who are Interested Persons in any action to be taken may be counted for quorum purposes under this Section and shall be entitled to vote to the extent not prohibited by the 1940 Act. All or any one or more Trustees may participate in a meeting of the Trustees or any committee thereof by means of a conference telephone or similar communications equipment by means of which all persons participating in the meeting can hear each other; participation in a meeting pursuant to any such communications system shall constitute presence in person at such meeting.

  • Board Meetings The Superintendent shall attend, and shall be permitted to attend, all meetings of the Board, both public and closed, with the exception of those closed meetings devoted to the consideration of any action or lack of action on the Superintendent's Contract, or the Superintendent's evaluation, or for purposes of resolving conflicts between individual Board members, or when the Board is acting in its capacity as a tribunal. In the event of illness or Board-approved absence, the Superintendent's designee shall attend such meetings.
