Identification of Contractor Employees. All contractor personnel attending meetings, answering Government telephones, and working in other situations where their Contractor status is not obvious to third parties are required to identify themselves as such to avoid creating an impression in the minds of members of the public that they are Government officials. They must also ensure that all documents or reports produced by Contractors are suitably marked as Contractor products or that Contractor participation is appropriately disclosed.

Identification of Contractor Employees. The contractor and subcontractors shall provide each employee an Identification (ID) Badge, which shall contain, at a minimum the company name, the employee name, and a color photo of the employee. ID Badges for Key Personnel shall also indicate their job title. ID Badges shall be worn at all times while performing work under this contract. All contractor and subcontractor employees shall wear the ID Badge in a conspicuous place on the front of exterior clothing and above the waist except when safety or health reasons prohibit. The contractor and subcontractors shall be responsible for collection of ID Badges upon completion of the contract or termination of employee(s). A listing of issued ID cards shall be furnished to the Contracting Officer or the COR prior to the contract performance date and updated as needed to reflect contractor and subcontractor personnel changes. When it is necessary for contractor personnel to have a user address on a Government computer, the Government will ensure that person's e-mail address includes .xxx@xxxx.xxx at the end of the email address and that the contractor includes the name of their company in their signature block at the end of their emails.
Identification of Contractor Employees. In accordance with the Government current security requirements as specified in F.5 above, all Contractor employees shall obtain “business employee” and “vehicle” passes, as required. The Contractor shall, prior to the start of on-site work, submit a written request for the passes to the COTR. The requests shall be submitted on company letterhead and include a listing of the names and social security numbers of all personnel required to be admitted to the Base and descriptions of all vehicles, including license plate numbers. The COTR shall forward the documentation to the appropriate office, which will issue the passes within seven (7) calendar days, without charge, after receipt of the proper paperwork. Prior to issuance of vehicle passes, inspection of all vehicles for conformance with safety standards may be required. All employees shall have an employee business pass in their possession at all times while on the Base. Any employee no longer working on the Base shall immediately surrender their pass. Loss of any employee pass or vehicle pass shall be reported immediately.

Further, it is a MEDCOM requirement that all Contractors indicate their contracting company in addition to the government client supported (i.e. Deputy Chief of Staff, Warrior Care and Transition (DCS, WCT)) in the email display name and signature block of all email communication while conducting business work scope for the program. Contractor personnel shall be required to obtain and wear badges in the performance of this service.
