HUMANITY FUND. 44.00 The Company agrees to deduct on a weekly basis the amount of $0.01 per hour from the wages of all Employees in the bargaining unit for all hours worked and, prior to the 15th day of the month following, to pay the amount so deducted to the “Humanity Fund” and to forward such payment to United Steel Workers of America National Office, 000 Xxxxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx, Xxxxxxx, Xxxxxxx X0X0X0, and to advise in writing both the Humanity Fund at the aforementioned address and the local union that such payment has been made, the amount of such payment and the names of all Employees in the bargaining unit on whose behalf such payment has been made. All deductions are voluntary and may be canceled upon request.

It is understood and agreed that participation by any employee in the bargaining unit in the programme of deductions set forth above may be discontinued by any employee in the bargaining unit after the receipt by the Company and the local Union of that employee’s written statement of his desire to discontinue such deductions from his pay which may be received during the four weeks following ratification of this Agreement or at any time thereafter.

HUMANITY FUND a) The Employer shall deduct biweekly $0.01 per hour for all regular hours worked from the wages of employees covered by this collective agreement. The employer shall remit these funds annually as provided in subparagraph (e) below.
HUMANITY FUND. 26.01 The Steelworkers Humanity Fund is a charitable organization which provides emergency food aid and assistance in response to international humanitarian disasters, supports food banks in Canada, and funds international development projects and development education.
HUMANITY FUND. The Employer shall in each pay period, deduct $0.01 per hour for all regular hours worked from the wages of employees covered by this Collective Agreement. The employee shall notify the Employer of their intent to enrol in the Fund. The monies so deducted shall be remitted to the charitable foundation known as the CEP Humanity Fund no later than the 15th day of the month following the month in which the hours were worked. The Employer shall also include with the remittance the number of employees for whom contributions have been made. All such employee contributions to the CEP Humanity Fund shall be recorded on the employee’s T4 Form.

Prior to the 15th day of the following month the Company will remit the amount deducted to the “Humanity Fund” at the United Steelworkers of America, National Office, 7th Floor, 000 Xxxxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx, Xxxxxxx, Xxxxxxx, X0x 0X0. The Company agrees to provide the Humanity Fund with the names of all employees, together with the amount deducted for each, on whose behalf the payment has been made.

HUMANITY FUND. 26.01 The Company agrees to deduct on a weekly basis the amount of not less than one cent (1¢) per hour from the wages of all employees in the Bargaining Unit for all hours worked and prior to the fifteenth (15th) day of the month following, to pay the amount so deducted to the “Humanity Fund” and to forward such payment to United Steelworkers of America, National Office, Suite 700, 000 Xxxxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx, Xxxxxxx, Xxxxxxx, X0X 0X0 and to advise in writing both the Humanity Fund at the aforementioned address and the Local Union that such payment has been made; the amount of such payment and the names of all employees in the Bargaining Unit on whose behalf such payment has been made. The Company agrees to include such deductions on the employee’s T4 Income Tax Receipt.
HUMANITY FUND. For the purpose of international aid and development, the Company agrees to deduct on a bi- weekly basis the amount of (not less than $0.01) per hour from the wages of all employees in the bargaining unit for all hours worked to a maximum of forty (40) straight time hours per week, and on a bi-weekly basis, to pay the amount so deducted to the "Humanity Fund" and to forward such payment to: United Steelworkers of America National Xxxxxx 000 Xxxxxxxx Xxxxxx X., 0xx Xxxxx Xxxxxxx, Xxxxxxx X0X 0X0 and to advise in writing both the Humanity Fund at the aforementioned address and the Local Union that such payment has been made, the amount of such payment and the names of all employees in the bargaining unit on whose behalf such payment has been made. The first "Humanity Fund" deduction as aforesaid shall be for the fifth (5th) week following ratification of this Agreement.
