Minimum hours required to meet MTA: 30 An official transcript that is designated as being “MACRAO Satisfied” or “MTA Satisfied” will have satisfied the University Program portion of the General Education Requirements. A portion or all of the Competency Requirements may also be satisfied by an official transcript designating MACRAO Satisfied” or “MTA Satisfied”. Central Michigan Writing Intensive & Quantitative Reasoning Requirements Effective Fall 2014, CMU has implemented a Writing Intensive (12 semester hours) and Quantitative Reasoning requirement (3 semester hours). Please note that these requirements are for both transfer and incoming Freshman students. Any Michigan community college student transferring to CMU with their transcript designated as “MACRAO Satisfied” or “MTA Satisfied” will be given six (6) semester hours of Writing Intensive course work. The remaining six (6) semester hours must be completed at CMU. The Quantitative Reasoning requirement may be satisfied through transfer credit. General NotesA grade of C- or better is required for a course to transfer.  A bachelor’s degree requires a minimum of 124 semester hours of credit. CMU will accept community college transfer credits beyond the recommended 64 semester hours; however students will need to complete a minimum of 60 semester hours from an accredited 4-year-degree granting institution. A minimum of 40 hours must be completed at the 300 level or above. A minimum of 30 semester hours of credit must be earned from CMU.  The University Program Requirements and competencies may be fulfilled by students who satisfy the MACRAO Agreement or the MTA  Students are required to meet CMU Competency Requirements prior to reaching 56 credit hours. Competency requirements consist of: two Written English (composition) courses, one Oral English (communication) course, and one Mathematics course be completed with a grade of “C” or above. Any remaining required and elective courses for a bachelor’s degree will be selected in consultation with an academic advisor to ensure that CMU degree requirements are being met. Related to Humanities and Fine Arts

  • Pupil Safety and Fingerprinting CONTRACTOR shall comply with all provisions of the Education Code which protect the safety of any pupil that may come in contact with employees of the CONTRACTOR. Pursuant to Education Code section 45125.1, CONTRACTOR shall conduct criminal background checks of ALL employees of CONTRACTOR assigned to the PROJECT site, and shall certify that no employees who have been convicted of serious or violent felonies, as specified in Education Code Section 45125.1, will have contact with pupils, by utilizing the General Certification Regarding Background Checks Form. As part of such certification, CONTRACTOR must provide the District with a list of all employees providing services pursuant to this Agreement, and designate which sites such employees will be assigned. In performing the services set forth in this Agreement, CONTRACTOR shall not utilize any employees who are not included on the above-referenced list. At District’s sole discretion, District may make a finding, as authorized under Education Code section 45125.1, that CONTRACTOR’s employees will have only “limited contact” with pupils. In accordance with Education Code Section 45125.2, a CONTRACTOR performing construction, reconstruction, rehabilitation or repair services to a school facility shall not be required to perform Section 45125.1 background checks of all employees assigned to the PROJECT site if such CONTRACTOR installs a physical barrier at the worksite to limit employee contact with pupils and/or provides continual supervision and monitoring of all employees of the CONTRACTOR by an employee of the CONTRACTOR whom the Department of Justice has ascertained has not been convicted of a violent or serious felony. Such CONTRACTOR shall certify to the District its compliance with one of the aforementioned alternatives under Education Code Section 45125.2 pertaining to pupil safety with the form entitled CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTOR CERTIFICATION REGARDING BACKGROUND CHECKS which is on file at the Administrative Office of the DISTRICT. Contractor’s failure to comply with the law or Article VI, Paragraph 4 of this Agreement shall be considered a material breach of this Agreement upon where this Agreement may be terminated, at District’s sole discretion, without any further compensation to Contractor.

  • HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT 41.1 In the performance of this Contract, Contractor and Operator shall conduct Petroleum Operations with due regard to health, safety and the protection of the environment (“HSE”) and the conservation of natural resources, and shall in particular:

  • Alcohol and Drug Testing Employee agrees to comply with and submit to any Company program or policy for testing for alcohol abuse or use of drugs and, in the absence of such a program or policy, to submit to such testing as may be required by Company and administered in accordance with applicable law and regulations.

  • Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Contractor understands that HHS does not tolerate any type of fraud, waste, or abuse. Violations of law, agency policies, or standards of ethical conduct will be investigated, and appropriate actions will be taken. Pursuant to Texas Government Code, Section 321.022, if the administrative head of a department or entity that is subject to audit by the state auditor has reasonable cause to believe that money received from the state by the department or entity or by a client or contractor of the department or entity may have been lost, misappropriated, or misused, or that other fraudulent or unlawful conduct has occurred in relation to the operation of the department or entity, the administrative head shall report the reason and basis for the belief to the Texas State Auditor’s Office (SAO). All employees or contractors who have reasonable cause to believe that fraud, waste, or abuse has occurred (including misconduct by any HHS employee, Grantee officer, agent, employee, or subcontractor that would constitute fraud, waste, or abuse) are required to immediately report the questioned activity to the Health and Human Services Commission's Office of Inspector General. Contractor agrees to comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and System Agency policies regarding fraud, waste, and abuse including, but not limited to, HHS Circular C-027.   • INFORMATION AND APPLICATIONS POLICY LANGUAGE For State Agency Authorized User Acquisitions: Any web-based information and applications development, or programming delivered pursuant to the contract or procurement, will comply with New York State Enterprise IT Policy NYS-P08-005, Accessibility of Web-Based Information and Applications as follows: Any web-based information and applications development, or programming delivered pursuant to the contract or procurement, will comply with New York State Enterprise IT Policy NYS-P08-005, Accessibility of Web-Based Information and Applications as such policy may be amended, modified or superseded, which requires that state agency web-based information and applications are accessible to persons with disabilities. Web-based information and applications must conform to New York State Enterprise IT Policy NYS-P08-005 as determined by quality assurance testing. Such quality assurance testing will be conducted by the State Agency Authorized User and the results of such testing must be satisfactory to the Authorized User before web-based information and applications will be considered a qualified deliverable under the contract or procurement.

  • Fire, Life Safety, and Accessibility Codes The following codes, in the versions approved by the Georgia State Fire Marshal/Fire Safety Commissioner and Department of Human Resources, shall be used. The Design Professional will designate any additional codes or special modifications in the Supplementary General Conditions.

  • Alcohol and Drugs Service Provider agrees that the presence of alcohol and drugs are prohibited on the Work Site and while performing their Services. If the Service Provider or any of their agents, employees, or subcontractors are determined to be present or with alcohol or drugs in their possession, this Agreement shall terminate immediately.

  • Alcohol and Drug-Free Workplace City reserves the right to deny access to, or require Contractor to remove from, City facilities personnel of any Contractor or subcontractor who City has reasonable grounds to believe has engaged in alcohol abuse or illegal drug activity which in any way impairs City's ability to maintain safe work facilities or to protect the health and well-being of City employees and the general public. City shall have the right of final approval for the entry or re-entry of any such person previously denied access to, or removed from, City facilities. Illegal drug activity means possessing, furnishing, selling, offering, purchasing, using or being under the influence of illegal drugs or other controlled substances for which the individual lacks a valid prescription. Alcohol abuse means possessing, furnishing, selling, offering, or using alcoholic beverages, or being under the influence of alcohol.

  • Substance Abuse Treatment Information Substance abuse treatment information shall be maintained in compliance with 42 C.F.R. Part 2 if the Party or subcontractor(s) are Part 2 covered programs, or if substance abuse treatment information is received from a Part 2 covered program by the Party or subcontractor(s).

  • Information Technology Accessibility Standards Any information technology related products or services purchased, used or maintained through this Grant must be compatible with the principles and goals contained in the Electronic and Information Technology Accessibility Standards adopted by the Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board under Section 508 of the federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. §794d), as amended.
