Housing Facilities. 12.1 The Employer shall provide the land to the contractor for developing the housing facilities to staff and labour for the construction period in the vicinity of the project site without any charges. Housing Facilities. Cal Maritime shall reserve a single-occupancy residence hall room for the duration of time listed above. Housekeeping services (including trash removal) are provided exclusively in common areas of residence halls such as hallways, restrooms, and lounge areas. Licensee is responsible for ensuring that all bedrooms are appropriately cleaned and maintained (including daily trash removal). Licensee shall immediately inform Cal Maritime about any need for repairs or maintenance in the residence halls. Unreported damages or damages reported more than 8 hours after discovery may be attributed to Licensee. Housing facility property including furniture in common areas, signs, lounge and bedroom furniture, and trash cans may not be moved or removed without the Cal Maritime’s advance written consent. All rooms shall be returned to their original condition before move-out. Licensee shall be charged for any damage to the housing facilities (or contents thereof) that occurs during their time of stay unless such damages are solely caused by Cal Maritime. Licensee is responsible for providing bedsheets, pillows, towels and personal care items. Credit card operated laundry facilities and vending machines are located in each residence hall. Cal Maritime reserves the right to make changes to housing assignments prior to the established check-in date for maintenance work or to accommodate other operational needs. Whenever possible, Licensee will be notified at least one (1) week in advance in the event that this is necessary.

For all new wind- powered and other non-synchronous generation facilities the Generation Interconnection Customer shall design its Customer Facility with the ability to maintain a composite power delivery at a power factor of at least 0.95 leading to 0.95 lagging across the full range of continuous rated power output. For all wind-powered and other non-synchronous generation facilities entering the New Service Queue on or after November 1, 2016, the power factor requirement shall be measured at the high-side of the facility substation transformers. This power factor range standard shall be dynamic and can be met using, for example, power electronics designed to supply this level of reactive capability (taking into account any limitations due to voltage level, real power output, etc.) or fixed and switched capacitors, or a combination of the two. For all wind-powered and other non-synchronous generation facilities entering the New Service Queue on or after May 1, 2015, and before November 1, 2016, the power factor requirement shall be measured at the generator’s terminals. For new generation resources of more than 20 MW, other than wind- powered and other non-synchronous Generating Facilities, the power factor requirement shall be measured at the generator’s terminals. Merchant Transmission Facilities shall design its Customer Facility to maintain a power factor at the Point of Interconnection of at least 0.95 leading and 0.95 lagging, when the Customer Facility is operating at any level within its approved operating range.
