Hourly Rated Employees. (a) An hourly rated employee not on continuous operations will be paid, for each of the above-listed holidays not worked, up to eight hours at his average straight-time hourly rate as taken from the last periodic statistics available at the time his holiday occurs (current rate for dayworkers), for a number of hours equal to his regular daily working schedule during such week, providing each of the following conditions are met:

Hourly Rated Employees. The standard hours for Hourly Rated Employees shall be eight (8) hours per day, Monday to Friday, between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. inclusive of a one (1) hour lunch period and two (2) fifteen (15) minute breaks. The times of work and days of work may be varied for shift workers such as Security Personnel and VLT staff, provided eight (8) hour shifts and the break periods are maintained.
Hourly Rated Employees. This will begin after one thousand eight hundred and twenty hours (1,820) of employment with the Institute. Arrangements shall be made with the carrier to permit employees to make additional voluntary contributions to such an R.R.S.P. Hourly Rated Employees. Away From Home Station Over Days When it becomes necessary to transfer an employee to another terminal under Rule for a period in excess of days, the relief will be bid in a maximum of two-week increments. It shall not be a violation of this Agreement for the Employer, after discussion with the Local Union to establish a non-traditional workweek(s) for hourly rated employees, provided no employee will be scheduled to work both Saturday and Sunday. Employees working four (4) consecutive ten-(10) hour shifts shall be paid time and one- half (1-1/2) the applicable hourly rate after ten (10) hours in any one (1) day during the scheduled week; after forty (40) hours; and for any hours worked on the fifth (5th) day worked of the workweek. Two (2) times the applicable hourly rate shall be paid for any hours worked on the sixth (6th) and/or seventh (7th) day worked of the workweek. This subsection does not prohibit a Local Union and an Employer from negotiating terms and conditions for a non-traditional workweek(s) that are different from those outlined above provided they are ratified by the affected members. Existing non-traditional workweek and premium pay agreements in effect as of the date of ratification shall remain in effect subject to the right of the parties to change by mutual agreement.
Hourly Rated Employees. The rate of pay for Employees that are normally paid by the hour shall be calculated by dividing the monthly salary by one hundred thirty point five (130.5) for Appendix 2(a) Employees, and by one hundred fifty-two point two five (152.25) for Appendix 2(b) Employees. The daily rate shall be determined by multiplying the number of regularly scheduled hours in the Employee's daily shift by the hourly rate.
