Hourly Rated Employees. (a) An hourly rated employee not on continuous operations will be paid, for each of the above-listed holidays not worked, up to eight hours at his average straight-time hourly rate as taken from the last periodic statistics available at the time his holiday occurs (current rate for dayworkers), for a number of hours equal to his regular daily working schedule during such week, providing each of the following conditions are met:
Hourly Rated Employees. The standard hours for Hourly Rated Employees shall be eight (8) hours per day, Monday to Friday, between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. inclusive of a one (1) hour lunch period and two (2) fifteen (15) minute breaks. The times of work and days of work may be varied for shift workers such as Security Personnel and VLT staff, provided eight (8) hour shifts and the break periods are maintained.
Hourly Rated Employees. This will begin after one thousand eight hundred and twenty hours (1,820) of employment with the Institute. Arrangements shall be made with the carrier to permit employees to make additional voluntary contributions to such an R.R.S.P. It is further understood that the Variable Compensation Plan payment is exempt from R.R.S.P. contributions and union dues payments.
Hourly Rated Employees. All hourly rated employees in the yard and office classification covered by this Agreement shall receive a basic wage increase as follows: Effective Contract & Common Carriers April 2, 2017 $0.30 June 1, 2017 $0.30 June 1, 2018 $0.30 June 1, 2019 $0.35 June 1, 2020 $0.45 All hourly rated employees in the garage classification covered by this Agreement shall receive a basic wage increase as follows: Effective Contract & Common Carriers April 2, 2017 $0.40 June 1, 2017 $0.40 June 1, 2018 $0.40 June 1, 2019 $0.40 June 1, 2020 $0.50 Effective June 1, 2017, June 1, 2018, June 1, 2019 and June 1, 2020, the above rates shall be adjusted in accordance with Article 23 of the National Master Agreement.
Hourly Rated Employees. All hourly rated employees shall work consecutive daily hours. When- ever any hourly rated employee is ordered to report for work and does report at the time specified such employee shall be guaranteed not less than eight (8)-hours’ earning opportunity on the day of reporting. For all hourly rated employees the workweek shall consist of five (5) consecutive eight (8)-hour days; overtime to be paid for all hours worked in excess of eight (8) hours in any one (1) day or in excess of forty (40) hours in any one (1) workweek. All work performed by hourly rated employees on the sixth (6th) day of the workweek shall be compensated for at the overtime rate of time and one-half (1-1/2). All work performed by hourly rated employees on the seventh (7th) day of the workweek and/or holidays shall be compensated for at two
Hourly Rated Employees. Normal working hours shall be forty (40) hours per week, Monday to Friday inclusive, as follows: Hourly-Rated Employees 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Hourly Rated Employees. Away From Home Station Over Days When it becomes necessary to transfer an employee to another terminal under Rule for a period in excess of days, the relief will be bid in a maximum of two-week increments. Employees be allowed travel time for each incremental period as per Rule Employees regularly assigned to road repair work whose tour of duty is regular and who leave and return to home station daily (a boarding car to be considered a home station) shall be paid continuous time from the time of leaving the home station to the time they return, whether working, waiting or travelling, exclusive of the meal period as follows. For all hours travelling, waiting, or for work performed during regular work hours, straight time shall be paid and overtime rates for work performed during overtime hours. If relieved from duty and permitted to go to bed for five hours or more, they will not be allowed pay for such hours. Where meals and lodging are not provided by the Company when away from home station, actual necessary expenses will be allowed. Whenever any hourly rated employee is ordered to report for work on the sixth (6th) or seventh (7th) day of the workweek and/or holiday and does report at the time specified, such employee shall be guaranteed eight (8) hours earning opportunity, at the applicable premium rate unless otherwise provided in the applicable Local Rider. It shall not be a violation of this Agreement for the Employer, after discussion with the Local Union to establish a non-traditional workweek(s) for hourly rated employees, provided no employee will be scheduled to work both Saturday and Sunday. Employees working four (4) consecutive ten-(10) hour shifts shall be paid time and one- half (1-1/2) the applicable hourly rate after ten (10) hours in any one (1) day during the scheduled week; after forty (40) hours; and for any hours worked on the fifth (5th) day worked of the workweek. Two (2) times the applicable hourly rate shall be paid for any hours worked on the sixth (6th) and/or seventh (7th) day worked of the workweek. This subsection does not prohibit a Local Union and an Employer from negotiating terms and conditions for a non-traditional workweek(s) that are different from those outlined above provided they are ratified by the affected members. Existing non-traditional workweek and premium pay agreements in effect as of the date of ratification shall remain in effect subject to the right of the parties to change by mutual agreement.
Hourly Rated Employees. The rate of pay for Employees that are normally paid by the hour shall be calculated by dividing the monthly salary by one hundred thirty point five (130.5) for Appendix 2(a) Employees, and by one hundred fifty-two point two five (152.25) for Appendix 2(b) Employees. The daily rate shall be determined by multiplying the number of regularly scheduled hours in the Employee's daily shift by the hourly rate.
