HOUR SHIFT BASIS. An employee who works on shift continually will receive annual vacation pay at the shift rate. The employees in the position of Working Supervisor must be members of the Union and be members in good standing in the Union. Reports to: Department Manager or Department Director Working Supervisor Responsibilities: D Direct or assist under specific direction of the department supervisor/manager; ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s). D Responsible for some record keeping and creation of computerized spreadsheets D Data entry D Training of new employees. D Provide leadership, advice or by good example, ensures quality of product meets standards. D Inform department manager of production problems. D Attends production meetings only D Spends 70% - 80% of time in the normal duties of the job classification. D Spends 20% - 30% of time overseeing work. D Does not administer discipline. Any management issues related to employees will be dealt with through the Department Manager. D Does not have a signing authority. Adjustment of wages to $4.00 above the Bindery II hourly rate employee. MEDICAL DENTAL APPOINTMENTS January 1, 2010 Re: Medical and Dental Appointments It is the policy of the Company that time lost due to medical and dental appointments will not be paid.
