HONOR GUARD. Section 26.1 An Honor Guard consisting of thirty (30) Employees shall be selected by the Lodge. The composite of the Honor Guard shall be subject to approval of the Chief of Police. The function of the Honor Guard shall be to serve at official gatherings such as arrival of dignitaries, police officer funerals where an officer is killed in the line of duty, and other special events by request. Normally, and at the discretion of the Police Chief, a maximum of fifteen (15) Employees may be allowed time off with pay for each event, when the scheduling of time off will not impede the operation of the Tulsa Police Department. Time spent on Honor Guard duties shall be considered time worked.

HONOR GUARD. Section 34.1 The Tulsa Fire Department shall establish at least an eight (8) person voluntary Honor Guard generally based on the guidelines provided from the Labor Management Committee with uniform standards set by the Fire Chief. Uniforms shall be provided by the Tulsa Fire Department and shall be retained as Department property.

Nothing in this agreement is meant to preclude staff from volunteering to serve as Honor Guard at non-compensable, non-City sponsored events.
HONOR GUARD. The Community Liaison Office (CLO) is responsible for receiving requests for Honor Guard appearances. The CLO will determine the actual number of employees selected to serve as Honor Guard in accordance with the provisions below. HONOR GUARD. The Honor Guard is a group of members approved by the Chief, and assembled to perform the duties at department ceremonies, community events and in the unfortunate event perform funeral details. All members of the Honor Guard are volunteers, and have agreed to perform all details without compensation. Off duty Honor Guard training events may be approved by the Chief for compensation.
HONOR GUARD. The parties agree to establish a Union County Corrections Honor Guard. The Honor Guard uniform will not contain any PBA patch or insignia, but the PBA flag will be displayed. The parties agree to meet to develop a policy containing objective criteria which will be used to determine membership in the Honor Guard. There will be no arbitrary administrative appointments to the Honor Guard. Current PBA Honor Guard members will be "grandfathered" into the new Union County Corrections Honor Guard.
HONOR GUARD. The Department shall pay for travel and lodging expenses for employees volunteering for Honor Guard service. Back staffing for honor guard members shall be arranged by employees utilizing shift trades or union time off.
