Homeless Management Information System. (HMIS) means a database mandated by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development used to collect participant-level data on the provision of housing and supportive services to individuals and families at risk of homelessness or experiencing homelessness.

Homeless Management Information System. Contractor must be in good standing in collecting and entering current, accurate, and comprehensive data that reflects the homeless prevention and intervention services delivered by Contractor into the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS), as defined by HUD, as a condition of funding under this Agreement. HMIS requirements are further described in Exhibit C.
Homeless Management Information System. Subrecipient must enter all appropriate and necessary data into Homeless Management Information System (“HMIS”) at the time of client intake, if applicable, or at such other times required, or require subcontractors providing the Services for which funding has been provided under this Agreement to enter. Homeless Management Information System. (HMIS) The Project Sponsor must regularly submit client-level data to the Hampden County CoC’s Homeless Management Information System (HMIS), except for victim service providers, who are not permitted to enter data into HMIS, and legal service providers, who may choose not to use HMIS if it is necessary to protect attorney-client privilege. Victims service providers and legal service providers are required to establish and operate a comparable database that complies with HUD standards. The Project Sponsor must comply with policies and procedures set forth in the CoC HMIS Manual, and the City’s HMIS Privacy, Security and Data Quality Plans.

All staff utilizing HMIS shall retain their own private login information and ensure they are complying with applicable HMIS policies. Client consent must be obtained prior to entering data into the HMIS. All staff utilizing HMIS must pass a criminal background check. Operator shall designate one “security officer” for the HMIS as defined by HUD. Operator agrees to continue the utilization of Clarity Passport.
