Homecare Training and Certification. SECTION 1: TRAINING PARTNERSHIP Recognizing our mutual commitment to develop a workforce capable of meeting the increasingly acute needs of the people served by home care and our encouragement of the development of human potential, the Employer will contribute to a fund for training and skills upgrading, known as the Training Partnership, pursuant to RCW 74.39A.009 and 74.39A.360. The Training Partnership will possess the capacity to provide training, peer mentoring, workforce development and other services to individual providers. The Employer shall become and remain a participating employer in such a Partnership during the complete life of this Agreement and any extension thereof. The parties agree, as of September 1st, 2013, there shall be established a “certification benefit” for the exclusive purpose of defraying the initial costs of certification and testing fees required by the Department of Health (DoH) or their testing agent for Bargaining Unit members to remain qualified to provide in‐home care services. This benefit shall also be administered by the Training Partnership.

  • Training and Orientation (a) No employee shall be required to work on any job or operate any piece of equipment until he/she has received proper training and instruction.

  • Training and Education SECTION 1 – Law Enforcement Supervisors’ Training The state and the PBA recognize the importance of supervisor training programs to develop management skills in our law enforcement supervisors. The state will make a reasonable effort to continue existing training programs in law enforcement techniques and to develop new programs in performance review techniques, supervisory skills, and managerial techniques.

  • Driver Training A. All drivers are to be provided with appropriate training and refresher courses each year in the following areas as a minimum: * Proper use of equipment including communications equipment; * Defensive driving; * Emergency and accident procedures; * Identifying unusual passenger behavior; * Student harassment and bullying; * Conducting evacuation drills; * Sensitivity training in working with disabled persons; * Human relation skills in working with parents, school staff, etc; * General vehicle maintenance and pre-trip inspections; and * Map reading and city street coordinates. The Department of Business and Transportation Services may review Contractors’ bus driver training program, upon request.

  • Training and Support Through the Solution, the Contractor shall provide all consulting, training, and support to the Customer and FL[DS] to ensure successful implementation of the Solution and ongoing support as necessary and as defined by FL[DS] to include, but not be limited to:

  • First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.

  • Staff Training VENDOR shall ensure that all staff providing direct Services receive continuing education and training as needed or required and that such education and training is documented.

  • Orientation and Training A transferring employee will be orientated separately to both or their new home in accordance with Article 20 the collective agreement of the designated employer.

  • TESTING AND COMMISSIONING 24 Allow for a Lump Sum for testing and commissioning of the entire electrical installation, including the provision of Compliance Certificate.   • Job Training The Employer and the Union shall establish a Joint Committee on Training and Skill Upgrading for the following purposes:

  • Compliance Training ADMINISTRATOR shall make General Compliance Training and Provider Compliance Training, where appropriate, available to Covered Individuals.
