Home Responsibility Leave. A home responsibility leave may be granted when there is a demonstrable need for the service of a unit member in caring for a member of his/her immediate family as defined in Section 10.16. A home responsibility leave may be granted for the balance of an academic school year and may be extended upon application year to year for a total period not exceeding five (5) additional school years.

Home Responsibility Leave. 13.2.12.1 All bargaining unit members, except temporary and long-term substitute employees, shall be entitled to a home responsibility leave in accordance with the following provisions:

Home Responsibility Leave. 13.10.1 A leave of absence without pay, without credit towards advancement on the salary schedule and without longevity, vacation or accumulation of sick leave, may be granted to permanent employees for the purpose of home responsibilities such as prolonged illness of a family member, preparation for childbirth, care of children, or for other reasons which justify the employee’s release from school District responsibilities.

  • Personal Responsibility The Participant and his/her parent(s) or legal guardian(s) certify that Participant has no physical or mental condition that precludes him/her from participating in the Activities and that he/she is not participating against medical advice. The Participant and his/her parent(s) or legal guardian(s) understand that Participant’s participation in the Activities is voluntary and further understand that they have the opportunity to inspect the Host’s Equipment and facilities before any participation. If, while participating in the Activities, the Participant or his/her parent(s) or legal guardian(s) observe any unusual hazard or condition, which they believe jeopardizes Participant’s personal safety or that of others, Participant and/or his/her parent(s) or legal guardian(s) will remove Participant from participation in the Activities and immediately bring said hazard or condition to the attention of the Host.   • Employee Responsibility Each employee is responsible for the care and maintenance of such equipment. The Company retains the right to inspect the equipment at any time and to require the employee to provide an accounting of any loss or abuse.
