HOME CARE TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION. SECTION 1: TRAINING PARTNERSHIP Recognizing our mutual commitment to development of a workforce capable of meeting the increasingly acute needs of the people served by home care and our encouragement of the development of human potential, the Employer will contribute to a fund for training and skills upgrading, known as the Training Partnership, pursuant to RCW 74.39A.009 and 74.39A.360. The Training Partnership will possess the capacity to provide training, peer mentoring, workforce development, and other services to individual providers. The Employer shall become and remain a participating employer in such a Partnership during the complete life of this Agreement, and any extension thereof. The parties agree, as of September 1, 2013, there shall be established a “certification benefit” for the exclusive purpose of defraying the initial costs of certification and testing fees required by the Department of Health (DOH) or their testing agent for bargaining unit members to remain qualified to provide in-­‐home care services. This benefit shall also be administered by the Training Partnership.

The Employer shall become and remain a participating employer in such Partnership during the complete life of this Agreement, and any extension thereof.
HOME CARE TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION. The Employer is required to provide training to its employees. Training must meet all requirements under applicable laws and rules set forth by the state of Washington, and as administered by the Department of Health and the Department of Social and Health Services. Employees shall be paid their hourly rate for attendance at all employer- required, Training, including but not limited to Basic Training, Continuing Education, In- Services and Meetings. The Union will be notified of in-person training classes and shall be afforded the opportunity to meet with employees for up to thirty minutes of paid time. The parties recognize our mutual commitment to development of a workforce capable of meeting the increasingly acute needs of the people served by home care, and our encouragement of the development of human potential. During the life of this agreement, and any extension thereof, the parties may reopen this section of the agreement for the purpose of admission into the Training Partnership, by mutual consent.

Amicable Healthcare reserves the right to seek third-party training partners, provide in-house training, or subcontract with the Training Partnership, in provider in-house training for new and existing employees. The goal is to optimize our resources to provide an efficient and consistent training experience for our employees.

  • Training and Orientation (a) No employee shall be required to work on any job or operate any piece of equipment until he/she has received proper training and instruction.

  • Training and Education SECTION 1 – Law Enforcement Supervisors’ Training The state and the PBA recognize the importance of supervisor training programs to develop management skills in our law enforcement supervisors. The state will make a reasonable effort to continue existing training programs in law enforcement techniques and to develop new programs in performance review techniques, supervisory skills, and managerial techniques.

  • Training and Support Through the Solution, the Contractor shall provide all consulting, training, and support to the Customer and FL[DS] to ensure successful implementation of the Solution and ongoing support as necessary and as defined by FL[DS] to include, but not be limited to:

  • Training and Technical Assistance COALITION will notify PROVIDER of the availability of training, technical assistance, and other targeted assistance in support of the provision of quality VPK services. COALITION will offer technical assistance for providers on probation. The technical assistance will be designed to facilitate the development and implementation of an improvement plan. The technical assistance will be offered in a manner and schedule prescribed by the COALITION or school district.

  • CERTIFICATION REGARDING DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE REQUIREMENTS The undersigned (authorized official signing for the contracting organization) certifies that the contractor will, or will continue to, provide a drug-free workplace in accordance with 45 CFR Part 76 by:

  • Driver Training A. All drivers are to be provided with appropriate training and refresher courses each year in the following areas as a minimum: * Proper use of equipment including communications equipment; * Defensive driving; * Emergency and accident procedures; * Identifying unusual passenger behavior; * Student harassment and bullying; * Conducting evacuation drills; * Sensitivity training in working with disabled persons; * Human relation skills in working with parents, school staff, etc; * General vehicle maintenance and pre-trip inspections; and * Map reading and city street coordinates. The Department of Business and Transportation Services may review Contractors’ bus driver training program, upon request.

  • Training Services Training Services may include pre-packaged training Products, and/or the development or customization of training programs as requested, including Live Training, Computer Based/Multi-Media Training which encompasses Internet-Delivered Training, and/or Video Based Training.

  • Contractor Certification Regarding Ethics The Contractor certifies that the Contractor is now, and shall remain, in compliance with Chapter 42.52 RCW, Ethics in Public Service, throughout the term of this Contract.

  • Drug-Free Workplace Certification As required by Executive Order No. 90-5 dated April 12, 1990, issued by the Governor of Indiana, the Contractor hereby covenants and agrees to make a good faith effort to provide and maintain a drug-free workplace. The Contractor will give written notice to the State within ten (10) days after receiving actual notice that the Contractor, or an employee of the Contractor in the State of Indiana, has been convicted of a criminal drug violation occurring in the workplace. False certification or violation of this certification may result in sanctions including, but not limited to, suspension of contract payments, termination of this Contract and/or debarment of contracting opportunities with the State for up to three (3) years. In addition to the provisions of the above paragraph, if the total amount set forth in this Contract is in excess of $25,000.00, the Contractor certifies and agrees that it will provide a drug-free workplace by:
