Holidays Worked. Employees who are eligible for holiday pay and who are compensated for overtime work at one and one-half (1½) times their hourly base rate of pay, shall be paid one and one-half (1½) times their hourly base rate of pay for each hour worked on a holiday in addition to the holiday pay for which they are entitled. All other employees who are required to work on a holiday shall be granted compensatory time off at a time mutually agreed upon between involved employees and their supervisors.

When an employee works on a calendar holiday, he/she shall receive payment of the holiday at the regular rate and in addition, at the discretion of the Employer, (1) be paid at the rate of time and one half for hours actually worked on the holiday or (2) be given compensatory time off equal to one and one half the number of hours actually worked.
Holidays Worked. The employee shall be compensated two and one-half times (2 ½) times the normal rate of pay for the first eight hours worked. Those hours worked in excess of eight hours shall be paid in the normal rate of pay.

If the time actually worked on a holiday is not overtime, the employee's pay for the time worked shall be the employee's regular straight time rate. If the time actually worked on a holiday is overtime, the employee's pay for the time worked shall be one and one-half times the employee's regular rate.

If an employee works on a holiday, he/she shall be paid two and one-half (2-1/2) times his/her regular hourly rate for all hours worked on the holiday, or the employee may elect to be paid straight time and earn compensatory time at a rate of one and one-half (1 ½) hours for all hours worked, to the limit set in Article 18.11. Employees working less than eight (8) hours on the holiday will receive straight time pay for the hours, less than eight (8), not worked.
