Common use of HOLIDAYS DEFINED Clause in Contracts

HOLIDAYS DEFINED. The following named days shall be considered holidays for purposes of this article: - New Year's Day - Indigenous People’s Day (Columbus Day) - Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx Day - Veteran's Day - President's Day - Thanksgiving Day - Memorial Day - Day After Thanksgiving - Independence Day - Christmas Day - Labor Day For the purposes of pay, New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Veteran’s Day, and Christmas Day shall be observed on the actual date of the holiday. All other holidays will be observed on the same dates as observed by other City employees. All full and part-time employees will be paid in accordance with Section 13.02, Subd. 4 and 5 for each hour worked between the starting midnight and the ending midnight of any of the holidays listed above.
