HOLIDAYS AND VACATION DAYS. A. Holiday pay will be provided to all classifications of employees in an amount equal to their regular rate of pay for the number of hours normally worked by the employee.

HEALTH ASSESSMENTS HEALTH ASSESSMENTS MUST BE FILLED OUT ACCORDING TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WELFARE GUIDELINES. YOU HAVE 30 DAYS FROM THE ENROLLMENT DATE TO RETURN THESE FORMS. IF THE FORMS ARE NOT TURNED IN YOU WILL NOT HAVE CHILDCARE AND WILL STILL BE RESPONSIBLE TO PAY YOUR FEES. AGGREEMENT FORMS, EMERGENCY CONTACT FORMS AND ALL OTHER PAPERWORK ALL FORMS MUST BE TURNED IN ON THE 1ST DAY OF CARE. THESE FORMS MUST ALSO BE UPDATED AT LEAST EVERY SIX MONTHS. YOU MAY JUST SIGN AND DATE YOUR CONTROL SHEET IF THERE ARE NOT ANY CHANGES. IF FOR ANY REASON YOUR INFORMATION HAS CHANGED YOU WILL NEED TO UPDATE ALL OF YOUR FORMS.

The following vacation days/holidays will be included, with the minimum number of days as designated: Labor Day (if applicable)--one weekday Thanksgiving--three weekdays Winter Break--six weekdays or seven if January 2 falls on weekday (January 2 - if applicable) Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx Xxx--one weekday President’s Day--one weekday Spring Break--five consecutive weekdays Memorial Day (if applicable)--one weekday “Weekday” is defined as Monday through Friday. Elementary schools will have half- days of regular class during the last two days of each semester. The board may assign more than the minimum number of days. TEACHER WORKDAYS One-half (1/2) day workday for teachers will be scheduled at the end of each grading period, except that a full workday shall be scheduled at the end of the first semester. A minimum of one (1) teacher workday will be scheduled at the beginning of the school year, before the students’ first day. No professional development work shall be scheduled on teacher work days.

The BOARD shall adopt the School Calendar each year, which shall include the following holidays with the minimum number of days as designated: Labor Day -1 school day; Thanksgiving Vacation -3 school days; Christmas Break -8 calendar days; Good Friday -1 school day; Spring Break -5 consecutive school days consisting of Monday through Friday. As designated, all days will include the minimum number of days of each vacation. The BOARD shall have the right to increase the number of vacation days in developing the School Calendar.
HOLIDAYS AND VACATION DAYS. Those days identified in articles 12.1 shall be recognized for drivers as either paid holidays, or holiday-related time off with pay. Employees shall be eligible for pay on holidays and holiday related days provided they shall have worked their last scheduled day prior to and their next scheduled work day following the holiday or holiday related day, unless they are on vacation, paid sick leave, authorized personal business day, and have pay due during the pay period in which the holiday or holiday related day falls. Drivers who are working in any job classification over the summer will be paid holiday pay for the July 4th and the July 4th related day, if working. Pay for these days will be for hours worked at the time and at the rate of pay they are making at the time. They must have worked their last scheduled day prior to and the next scheduled day after the holidays.

Vacation will accrue on January 1 of each year. The Executive may carry over into the next year any untaken vacation provided the total number of vacation days for any calendar year shall not exceed twenty (20) business days. No compensation shall be paid for accrued but untaken vacation.
