Holiday Overtime Rate. Pay or compensatory time off at the rate of two (2) times his or her regular rate of compensation for the day if required to work less than eight hours, and normal holiday pay [e.g. if regular, full-time employee is required to work eight hours on a holiday, then his or her compensation in addition to the holiday pay would be sixteen (16) hours (2 x 8) at his or her straight time rate of pay.]

Holiday Overtime Rate. Except for security officers working a regular shift, work performed on a paid holiday shall be paid at two (2) times the hourly rate of pay for the classification in which the overtime is performed plus pay as per Article 30.01.

  • Overtime Rate In accordance with the applicable wage and hour laws, the overtime rate will be one and one-half (1-1/2) of an employee’s regular rate of pay. The regular rate of pay will not include any allowable exclusions.

  • Holiday Overtime An employee required to work on any of the above-named holidays will be paid holiday pay plus payment for the number of hours worked at the rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) his regular straight time rate of pay.

  • Wage Rate The hourly rates for full-time junior and adult apprentices as set out in this agreement shall apply to school based apprentices except that the school based apprentice for pay purposes will be paid a further 25% of hours to the actual hours worked for off the job training.

  • Holiday Payment 4.1 Where an employee works on a holiday specified in Article 47 (Holidays) and opts for compensating leave under Article UN13.2 or COR13.2, he or she may elect, at that time, to receive, in addition to his or her entitlement under Article UN13.2 or COR13.2, further leave equal to the difference between the number of hours in the employee’s normal work day and his or her entitlement under Article UN13.2
