Common use of Hold Harmless and Indemnity Clause in Contracts

Hold Harmless and Indemnity. Lessee hereby agrees and obligates itself, its successors and assigns, to defend, indemnify and forever hold Lessor, its employees, elected and appointed officials, successors and assigns harmless, from any claim that may be asserted by any person or party arising or resulting from any violation by Xxxxxx, its employees, agents and/or representatives of the requirements of any applicable state law or its use of the Property for any purpose.
