Historical Artifacts. Lessee shall not remove or disturb or cause or permit to be removed or disturbed, any historical, archeological, architectural, or other cultural artifacts, relics, remains or objects of antiquity. In the event such items are discovered on the Leased Premises, Lessee shall immediately notify AFRH and protect the site and the material from further disturbance until AFRH gives clearance to proceed. The Programmatic Agreement shall guide the handling of historic artifacts found on the Leased Premises.

Historical Artifacts. If any relics, items or structures with archaeological, geographical or historical value or any artifacts (including fossils, coins, articles of value or antiquity and any Native American relics) are discovered by Contractor or any of its Subcontractors in the performance of the Work, Contractor shall and shall cause its Subcontractors to leave said items undisturbed and shall immediately notify Company and await Company’s direction before proceeding with any Work in the vicinity. All such historical artifacts shall be deemed to be the property of Company and under no circumstances shall Contractor or any of its Subcontractors take possession of any item discovered. If necessary, any Change to the Work, including any adjustment to the Project Schedule, necessitated by any such discovery shall be subject to Change Order as a Required Change.
