Hiring and Dispatch. 1. After there are four (4) labourers cleared through the dispatch system to a specific commercial/institutional project, the Employer may exercise the option to obtain employees elsewhere, it being understood that employees so hired shall meet the Union qualifications and shall posses the skills, ability and expertise to perform the available work.

Hiring and Dispatch a) Name Request When bridgemen and pile drivers are required, foremen excepted, they will be dispatched by the respective local Union. The Employer will be allowed to rehire by name request, members who have worked for the Employer within the previous twelve (12) months. The Employer will have the right to name request foremen provided they are members of the Pile Drivers' Union. When a member is name requested as xxxxxxx, he/she must remain as xxxxxxx for the remainder of the job or until there is a reduction in force. A member will not be eligible for name request while employed by another Employer signatory to this Agreement.

Hiring and Dispatch. Section 1. (a) Only qualified journeymen shall be permitted to work under this Agreement as Terrazzo Workers and/or Terrazzo Finishers. A qualified journeyman shall be defined as a worker who has completed a three (3) year apprenticeship or equivalent program in the installation of terrazzo, or a two (2) year apprenticeship or equivalent program in the finishing of terrazzo. In lieu of these requirements, a qualified journeyman shall be defined as a person who has three (3) years' experience in the installation of terrazzo or two (2) years’ experience in the finishing of terrazzo, and who has passed a journeyman trade or equivalent test. The provisions of this subparagraph shall not be applicable to Apprentices or Finisher Improvers.

  • Employee Training and Discipline Contractor agrees to advise its personnel who have access to Medi-Cal PII of the confidentiality of the information, the safeguards required to protect the information, and the civil and criminal sanctions for non-compliance contained in applicable Federal and State laws.   • Suspension and Dismissal In the event an Employee alleges dismissal or suspension without just cause, the Employee may commence a grievance at Step II. The grievance shall be filed within ten (10) days of the occurrence.

  • DISCHARGE AND DISCIPLINE 14.09 (a) No employee shall be discharged or disciplined except for just and sufficient cause. The Union agrees to co-operate in an endeavor to correct inefficiencies of employees which might necessitate disciplinary action. Discharge or discipline grievances may be settled by confirming the Company's decision or by re-instating the discharged or suspended employee with full compensation for time lost, less interim earnings if applicable, or by any other arrangement which is just and equitable in the opinion of the parties or of a Board of Arbitration if the matter is referred to it.

  • Printing and Distribution of Agreement The Medical Center and the Association shall equally share expenses for the printing of an adequate supply of copies of this Agreement. The Medical Center will make available a suitable number of copies of the Agreement on each nursing unit following the Association’s delivery of the printed copies to the Medical Center.
