Higher Pay. Classifications If an employee is temporarily assigned from his or her regular classification to another classification that is in a higher pay range, the employee shall receive the minimum hourly rate for the higher paying classification that results in the employee receiving a higher rate of pay for all hours worked in the higher pay range classification.

Higher Pay. Sergeants who are assigned temporarily to the position of patrol shift commander, when there is no Lieutenant assigned as Patrol Shift Commander, shall be paid the percentage difference between the minimum rate of pay between the sergeant and lieutenant wage rates in addition to their regular base hourly rate for all hours worked in the higher assignment, provided that the duration of the assignment comprises one-half of the total shift or more. Administrative differential will be added to this higher rate and they will be expected to perform any administrative work related to the higher-class assignment that is required. If the Operational Lieutenant is not on duty, the Sergeant permanently assigned to the Traffic Division shall be paid the percentage difference between the minimum rate of pay between the sergeant and lieutenant wage rates in addition to their regular base hourly rate for all hours worked in the higher assignment, provided that the duration of the assignment comprises one-half of the total shift or more. If there is no Lieutenant assigned as the A-1 team Patrol Shift Commander, the Sergeant permanently assigned to the JetPort shall be paid the percentage difference between the minimum rate of pay between the sergeant and lieutenant wage rates in addition to their regular base hourly rate for all hours worked in the higher assignment, provided that the duration of the assignment comprises one- half of the total shift or more. If the Criminal Investigations Division Lieutenant is not on duty, a Sergeant permanently assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division shall be paid the percentage difference between the minimum rate of pay between the sergeant and lieutenant wage rates in addition to their regular base hourly rate for all hours worked in the higher assignment, provided that the duration of the assignment comprises one-half of the total shift or more.   • Termination Pay Effective upon the termination of this Agreement, the Employer will be obligated to pay the Executive (or, in the event of his death, his designated beneficiary as defined below) only such compensation as is provided in this Section 6.5, and in lieu of all other amounts and in settlement and complete release of all claims the Executive may have against the Employer. For purposes of this Section 6.5, the Executive's designated beneficiary will be such individual beneficiary or trust, located at such address, as the Executive may designate by notice to the Employer from time to time or, if the Executive fails to give notice to the Employer of such a beneficiary, the Executive's estate.   • Cancellation Pay If a Nurse’s scheduled tour is cancelled with less than fifteen (15) hours’ notice prior to the starting time of their scheduled tour, they shall receive four (4) hours pay at their regular straight hourly rate.
