HIGHER LEVEL ASSIGNMENTS. Section 25.01. Definition Higher level work is defined as an assignment to a ranked higher level position or the performance of distinguishing, disparate, or core duty elements of a ranked higher level position, whether or not such position has been authorized at the Center.

HIGHER LEVEL ASSIGNMENTS. Section 25.01. Temporary Assignments to Higher Level Positions Outside the Bargaining Unit. Temporary assignments to higher level positions outside the bargaining unit shall be in accord with the applicable provisions of Chapter 4, Pay Administration, Employee and Labor Relations Manual.
HIGHER LEVEL ASSIGNMENTS. An employee, who is requested by his/her supervisor, to temporarily assume significant duties and responsibilities of a higher level employee for at least five consecutive work days, shall receive an additional twenty-five ($0.25) cents per hour during that timeframe.

  • Work Assignments Section 1. The Company shall determine whether to staff a position or fill a vacancy and the method or combination of methods it shall use for such purposes. In making this determination, the Company shall first give consideration to qualified laid off employees with applications on file in accordance with Article 14 Section 7 of this Agreement and then internal candidates prior to off-street applicants. All vacancies within the Bargaining Unit shall be posted (manually or electronically) in locations where Bargaining Unit employees regularly work. The posting shall include the title, wage range, and sufficient information regarding requirements and duties to adequately describe the vacancy. The vacancy shall remain posted for seven (7) calendar days which shall be spread between two (2) workweeks.

  • Overtime Assignments When needed, overtime work for full-time employees shall be scheduled among qualified employees doing similar work in the work location where the employees regularly work in accordance with the following:

  • Teaching Assignment For teaching faculty, the teaching assignment will be one or a combination of programs, courses, or student originated studies offerings (all of which are collectively referred to as “academic offerings” below). For full-time faculty the normal teaching assignment will be a program. For part-time faculty the normal assignment is either a program and/or course(s), depending on the terms of their contract. In addition, faculty may support individual learning contracts.
