Higher Grade Pay. 25.1 Higher grade payments are intended to fairly remunerate employees when acting in positions at a higher level which is vacant or the holder is on leave or on secondment. Where an employee has relieved in a higher position continuously for a period of three (3) calendar months or more, all approved leave, i.e. Annual Leave, Sick Leave, Carers Leave, Long Service Leave and paid Parental Leave taken by the employee immediately at the end of that period will be paid at the higher grade rate.

Higher Grade Pay. 43.1 The introduction of skills-based classifications means that higher grade pay will no longer be applicable within classification groupings because employees will be paid for the full range of duties that they would be expected to use from time to time. Higher Grade duties still apply where employees take on higher responsibilities and duties which are beyond the scope of their classification grouping, e.g. a Technician acting as a Field Co-ordinator, Superintendent etc.
Higher Grade Pay. An employee who is called upon to relieve an employee in a higher classification or is called upon to act in a vacant position of a higher classification shall be entitled to receive for the period of relief or the period during which he/she so acts the minimum payment for such higher classification.
Higher Grade Pay. 22.3.1 An employee required to perform the normal duties of a higher grade than that in which the employee is regularly employed shall in addition to the employee's normal salary be paid the difference between that salary and that prescribed in this agreement for the higher grade provided that the period concerned is not less than five consecutive working days. An employee qualifying for a higher grade pay under this clause shall be entitled to the higher grade pay for the entire period of any relief. Provided that any employee relieving another in a lower paid position shall not be reduced in salary whilst so relieving.

Higher Grade Pay. There will be occasions when the Credit Union will wish to appoint an employee to a higher grade position for relief purposes whose competencies and qualifications are not equivalent to those of the person currently occupying the position. The appointment is to be made for the purposes of either training in the skills of the position and/or for self development. An assessment of the skills/competencies and qualifications of the employee required to act in the higher grade position will be undertaken by the employee’s Manager prior to the appointment. This assessment will include a comparison of the difference in the requirements as per the Statement of Duties the employee currently does, and the statement of Duties as per the higher graded position. This assessment will determine the amount of the higher grade salary that is to be applicable for the relief period. Appointments made under this clause will be paid for all time worked in the higher grade position. All other provisions relating to higher grade pay are to be as Clause 11.2 of the Credit Union Award 1998.

  • Maximum Contract Amount 4.4.1. Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, the City’s maximum payment obligation will not exceed ($_) (the “Maximum Contract Amount”).   • Downgrade Event If Downgrade Event is indicated as Applicable on the Cover Sheet, if at any time there occurs a Downgrade Event in respect of a Party, then the other Party may require Performance Assurance in an amount determined by that Party in a commercially reasonable manner. Failure to provide such Performance Assurance to the requesting Party within three Business Days of request is an Event of Default.
