Health Related Services. Bargaining unit employees shall continue to administer medication and perform health related tasks as assigned by the Board. Individual employee preferences shall be considered in making such assignments. The supervisor, in consultation with the school nurse, may delegate student health related tasks (e.g., tube feedings, catheterizing, and other health related procedures) to the assigned employee who shall receive appropriate training and supplies from the school nurse or other appropriate personnel. If the nurse and supervisor believe that the tasks should be reassigned, or the employee is unable or unwilling to perform the assigned tasks, volunteers will be solicited. Where feasible, such tasks will be reassigned for the balance of the school year to a qualified volunteer, provided there is minimal disruption to the building's educational program. If no qualified volunteers are available, a special conference will be held with the supervisor, school nurse, affected employees and a Union representative, to discuss and identify possible solutions. If agreement is not reached an appeal may be made to the Superintendent whose decision shall be from among the identified solutions and is final. Where feasible, such services shall be carried out in the presence of another adult. Except that reasonable effort shall be made so that special toileting, diapering and catheterizing occur either in the presence of another adult or within reasonable proximity of another adult. Upon request of the employee's supervisor, employees shall be provided with copies of documentation authorizing and describing the health related service and providing information about the student's health care provider (including an emergency number if available) that are in the District's possession. Upon request of the employee's supervisor, employees shall be provided with an appropriate protocol for emergency situations. Procedures will also be developed for handling problems that may occur. The procedures will include a protocol for contacting medical personnel, as needed. The Board will continue to provide liability insurance coverage to employees acting within the scope of their employment.
Health Related Services. WHS shall provide disease prevention and health promotion services which may include Health Risk Assessments, Health Screening, Nutrition Counseling and Education, Health Promotion Programs, Physical Fitness Programs, Home Injury Control Programs, Mental Health Screening and Education Programs, Preventive Health Programs, Social Services and Follow-up Health Services.
Health Related Services. Transportation and Escort Services Translation services for medical appointments as (when the IDT determines it meets a participant’s medical, physical, emotional or social need) Assistance with financial management Social and Environmental Supports
Health Related Services. (Flexible Services and Community Based Health- Related Services. Consistent with the Health-Related Services Rule adopted by the OHA (which includes member-level disbursements often called “flexible services”, and community-based Health-Related Services, often called “Community Benefit Initiatives”) and the Health-Related Services Brief released by the OHA, along with Health Plan policies approved by OHA, Health Plan will make certain disbursements from any HCB from time to time and at Health Plan’s discretion. These disbursements are distinct from Health Plan-provided Health Services.
Health Related Services. Contractor may provide Health-Related Services for Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder services and supports.
Health Related Services. In addition to Covered State Plan Services, Contractor shall include Health-related services, in accordance with OAR 000-000-0000, 45 CFR §158.150 or 45 CFR §158.151that are consistent with achieving Member wellness and the objectives of an individualized care plan or improving population health and health care quality. Health-related services must be coordinated by the Contractor, and may be in collaboration with the PCPCH or other PCP in the DSN. Health-related services must be administered in accordance with Contractor’s policy, written in collaboration with XXX. Services covered under this Contract may be substituted with or expanded to include Health-related services, in compliance with Contractor’s policy as written in collaboration with XXX, and agreed to by Contractor, the Member and, as appropriate, the family of the Member, as being an effective alternative. Contractor shall establish written policies and procedures, as written in collaboration with XXX for administering Health-related services. The policies and procedures shall enable a Participating Provider to order and supervise the delivery of Health-related services. Contractor shall submit these policies, as follows:
Health Related Services. Transportation and accompaniment to appointments Translation services for medical appointments as necessary Assistance with benefit management Social and environmental supports
Health Related Services. MCOs must work with the providers of school-health related services to coordinate care.
Health Related Services storing mislabeled, unlabeled, outdated or discontinued medications; failure to ensure that needed medical care is provided to those in care.
