Health and Wellbeing. The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) As part of our commitment to the provision of a safe and healthy working environment, we will provide you and your immediate family members with access to professional, independent and confidential counselling services as nominated by us at no cost to you. The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) will be available 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. The EAP can actively support you to deal with personal or work-related problems or concerns affecting psychological or emotional wellbeing through the provision of short term, confidential, professional counselling. We also encourage you to use EAP as preventative and proactive intervention to support your overall wellbeing. Corporate Fitness Program We encourage you to access our Corporate Fitness Program to promote your general health and wellbeing as well as the wellbeing of your partner and children. Further information is available on the intranet. Health and Wellbeing Leave We recognise that looking after your health and wellbeing can lead to positive outcomes such as improved work performance and productivity, improved recruitment and retention, reduced absenteeism, and other benefits. You can take up to 2 days from your Personal Leave entitlement per year for health and wellbeing activities where you can demonstrate health and wellbeing benefits to the satisfaction of your Manager.

Health and Wellbeing. − If during the program, the student is diagnosed with a physical condition that prevents him/her from participating normally in their program, they may be sent home, at the discretion of EF Academy. Similarly, if the stu- dent is diagnosed with a mental health condition (including but not limited to anorexia, bulimia, anxiety or adjustment disorder, or depression) or if a student shows clear symptoms of a mental health disorder that puts the safety of the student or those around them at risk (including but not limited to binging, purging, restrictive eating, panic attacks, anxiety, self- harm or suicidal ideation), the student may be sent home on medical leave. Parents/guardians may be required to physically collect the student from campus within 24 hours of being notified. Should the need arise for the student to speak to a medical or mental health provider, these evaluations will not be confidential and we, the parent(s) or guardian(s) authorize their direct release to EF Academy and/or its affiliates. − In the event that a student becomes pregnant, the student will need to return home at the parents’/guardians’ own expense. Pregnancy and childbirth related leave will be treated as a medical leave according to the Attendance Policy. − Should the student’s medical leave impact the student’s ability to com- plete their program, they may be required to repeat the academic year. Depending on the length of medical leave required, the student may need to withdraw for that academic year. See the Withdrawal Policy section of this Agreement for refund policy conditions. − Definition: Medical Leave is when a student is deemed unable to continue with their program on any medical grounds. They will be required to return home to receive necessary treatment, therapy or support.

Council will continue to develop workplace health and/or wellbeing programs that are suited to the needs and resources of Council. Council supports employees to manage their health and wellbeing. Employees who do not wish to access Council’s Sick Leave provisions are able to access their personal leave provisions including but not limited to Flextime, Annual Leave and Long Service Leave to take time out of the workplace. Employees are encouraged to speak to their supervisor to assist in supporting their health and wellbeing.
