Health and Safety Policies. A. Management will provide safe and sanitary working conditions and equipment, consistent with standards promulgated under the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSHA). Consistent with 29 CFR Chapter XVII, Management shall post notices informing employees of the protections and obligations provided for in the OSHA.

Health and Safety Policies. The Employer believes that the health and safety of the workers are important concerns for their own welfare and for the welfare of the University community. Consequently, the Employer shall attempt to make the workplace free from hazards by educating workers on proper safety procedures, conducting accident prevention sessions, and inspection of equipment and work areas. Workers of the Employer shall be actively involved in this program. The Employer will comply with all University policies, applicable laws and regulations governing worksite safety. Workers will comply with the provisions of the “University Injury and Illness Prevention Plan” and all rules and regulations of the Employer governing worksite safety, to the extent such provisions, rules or regulations apply to a worker’s responsibilities, actions or conduct.
Health and Safety Policies. The School’s policies including the Health and Safety Policy and Equal Rights policy will be explained to the volunteers at the outset. The school has a Health & Safety Policy and this is made available to volunteers working in the school. An appropriate member of staff will ensure that volunteers are clear about emergency procedures (e.g. Fire Alarm Evacuation) and about any safety aspects associated with particular tasks (e.g. using D T equipment/accompanying pupils on visits). Volunteers need to exercise due care and attention and report any obvious hazards or concerns to the designated member of staff /Head teacher. Volunteers are covered by Bradford Council Health & Safety Statement and indemnity and Public Liability Insurance.

As of June 15, 2020 TBCA is committed to the health and safety of its staff, volunteers, members, and general community and understand our responsibility as managers of a facility and grounds on Xxxxx Island. To this end, TBCA staff and members will follow general safety practices regarding the upkeep and sanitation of our facilities and grounds, including regular cleaning, providing accessible, social distancing washrooms, cleaning equipment for member use, safely disposing of waste, and physical maintenance of the building and grounds.
