Health and Committee. In accordance with the Occupational and Safety Act, the employer recognizes the Health and Safety Committee (up to six from each). The Local Union President'sworkload and Chief Stewards workload will each be reduced by forty percent (40%) without loss of pay or credits.

If such a transfer is not feasible, the pregnant employee, if she so requests, will be granted an unpaid leave of absence before of the maternity leave referred to in Article Where the Hospital identifies high risk areas where employees are exposed to Hepatitis the Hospital will provide, at no cost to the employees, a Hepatitis B vaccine. Hospitals with sites of over one hundred (100) nurses per site will choose either to include a representative from the bargaining unit from each site, or to have a separate Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee at each site, unless the parties agree otherwise. Health and Committee. All members of the Joint Health and Safety Committee shall attend the regularly scheduled meeting at their workplace. Members include regular members and alternates. All union members of the Committee shall caucus one hour prior to the regular meeting. Time spent attending regular scheduled meetings and caucus time shall be paid by the Employer.
