Heading; Terms. Any captions to, or headings of, the sections of this Xxxx of Sale Agreement are solely for the convenience of the parties hereto, are not a part of this Xxxx of Sale Agreement, and shall not be used for the interpretation of this Xxxx of Sale Agreement. Unless otherwise specifically defined herein, all terms used herein and defined in this Xxxx of Sale Agreement shall have the meanings assigned to them in the Agreement.

Heading; Terms. The headings in this Agreement are for the purposes of reference only and shall not limit or otherwise affect the meaning of the provisions hereof.
Heading; Terms. The headings in this Agreement are for convenience only and are not part of this Agreement. Identity Theft. Identity theft is on the rise and the Bank reminds you of some of the things you can do to protect your identity. These things include the following: • Not printing your driver’s license or social security number on your checks. • Ordering tamper resistant checks. • Notifying the Bank if you have not received your new check order within 14 business days. • Reconciling banking statements as soon as you receive them and looking for any discrepancies (including, but not limited to, checks cashed out of sequence or unexplained cash flows to or from your account). • Placing outgoing mail in a secured mail box. • Being careful of pretext callers who try to obtain your personal information, including bank account numbers and social security numbers, by pretending to be bank personnel or law enforcement. • Writing your checks in legible manner and with legible ink in order to help prevent your checks from being altered or forged. • Writing the numerical amount on checks in a manner that prevents additional numbers from being added by another person. • Using reasonable methods to discard sensitive documents and consider placing a credit watch on your account by contacting the major credit reporting agencies. • Being sure to store and keep safe checks, withdrawal and deposit slips, statements and other financial related documents. The following are preventive measures you can take: • Not leaving incoming mail in an unsecured mail box or residence mail box. • Not allowing others access to your PIN or Bank of Stockton Debit Card. • Not giving a signed blank check to anyone. • Not maintaining signed blank checks. • Not giving anyone permission to sign your name on your checks. REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION AND LEGAL PROCESS Information about You and Your Account. You understand that in addition to information furnished pursuant to legal process, information about your account may automatically be disclosed to others. For example, the Bank may be required to disclose to the government the amount of the interest you earn, or report to the government large currency transactions and foreign transactions. The Bank may also provide information about your account to persons or companies the Bank believes would use such information for reasonable purposes, such as when a prospective creditor seeks to verify information you may have given in a credit application or a merchant ...
