Hazardous Material Defined. As used herein, the termHazardous Material” means asbestos, oil or any hazardous, radioactive or toxic substance, material or waste or petroleum derivative which is or becomes regulated by any Environmental Law. The term “Hazardous Material” includes, without limitation, oil and/or any material or substance which is (i) designated as a “hazardous substance,” “hazardous material,” “oil,” “hazardous waste” or toxic substance under any Environmental Law.

Section 1317), (ii) defined as a “hazardous waste” pursuant to Section 1004 of the Federal Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, 42 U.S.C. Section 6901 et seq. (42 U.S.C. Section 6903), or (iii) defined as a “hazardous substance” pursuant to Section 101 of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act, 42 U.S.C. Section 9601 et seq. (42 U.S.C. Section 9601), or (iv) defined as “hazardous substance” or “oil” under Chapter 21E of the General Laws of Massachusetts.
Hazardous Material Defined. For purposes of this Agreement, “Hazardous Material” includes any hazardous, toxic or dangerous waste, substance or material defined as in (or for purposes of) the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act, or so-called "Superfund" or "Superlien" law or any other federal, state or local statute, law, ordinance, code, rule, regulation, order or decree regulating, relating to, or imposing liability or standards of conduct concerning, any hazardous, toxic or dangerous waste, substance or material, as now or at any time hereafter in effect.

Section 6901 et seq., Clean Water Act, 33 U.S.C. Section 1251, et seq., Safe Drinking Water Act, 14 U.S.C. Section 300f, et seq., Toxic Substances Control Act, 15 U.S.C. Section 2601, et seq., Atomic Energy Act of 1954, 42 U.S.C. Section 2014 et seq., and any similar federal, state or local Laws, and all regulations, guidelines, directives and other requirements thereunder, all as may be amended or supplemented from time to time.

Health & Safety code § 25249.5 et seq., (l) Hazardous Substances Underground Storage Tank Law, Cal. Health & Safety code § 25280 et seq., (m) Air Resources Law, cal. Health & Safety Code § 39000 et seq., and (n) regulations promulgated pursuant to said laws or any replacement thereof, or as similar terms are defined in the federal, state and local laws, statutes, regulations, orders or rules (the foregoing being referred to as “Environmental Laws”).
