Verisign shall notify Registrar of the purposes for which Personal Data submitted to Verisign by Registrar is collected, the intended recipients (or categories of recipients) of such Personal Data, and the mechanism for access to and correction of such Personal Data. Verisign shall take reasonable steps to protect Personal Data from loss, misuse, unauthorized disclosure, alteration or destruction. Verisign shall not use or authorize the use of Personal Data in a way that is incompatible with the notice provided to registrars. Verisign may from time to time use the demographic data collected for statistical analysis, provided that this analysis will not disclose individual Personal Data and provided that such use is compatible with the notice provided to registrars regarding the purpose and procedures for such use.

Personal Data submitted to Registry Operator by Registrar under this Agreement will be collected and used by Registry Operator for the purposes of providing Registry Services as defined in ICANN’s Registry Agreements (including but not limited to publication of registration data in the directory services, also known as “Whois” or “RDDS”) and to protect the security and stability of the Registry Services and Systems. Notwithstanding the above, Registry Operator may from time to time use the demographic data collected for internal statistical analysis, provided that this analysis will not disclose individual Personal Data and provided such use is compatible with the notices provided to registrars regarding the purpose and procedures for such use. Except as set forth herein, Registry Operator will not share, sell, rent or otherwise disclose such Personal Data to any third parties, other than Registry Service Provider, ICANN and ICANN’s authorized agents, without Registrar’s prior written consent, which shall not be unreasonably withheld.

VoxPop may from time to time use data submitted by Registrar for statistical analysis, provided that any such analysis will not disclose individual Personal Data and such data is only used for internal business purposes. VoxPop will not share, sell, rent or otherwise disclose any non-public data to any third parties unless required by law.

With respect to the processing of personal data by Company solely on your behalf, the terms of the Data Processing Addendum shall apply to the extent required by applicable law. The following terms have the meanings given in the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679: “personal data”, “data subject” and “process”). To the extent you are an individual, you hereby expressly grant consent to Company to: (a) process your personal data (including sensitive personal data) in accordance with the Privacy Policy and to collect, use, and disclose such personal data in order deliver Services and otherwise in accordance with the terms herein; (b) disclose your personal data (including sensitive personal data) to the categories of recipients described in the Privacy Policy; (c) transfer your personal data (including sensitive personal data) throughout the world, including to the United States and other countries that do not ensure adequate protection for personal data (as determined by the European Commission); and (d) disclose your personal data (including sensitive personal data) to comply with lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.
