Hand Tools. Hand tools will be provided to the line personnel at the beginning of regular employment. It shall be the responsibility of all line personnel to maintain subject tools in proper working order. Tools will only be replaced by the Municipality when worn out or broken in the performance of duty. Tools requiring such replacement will be subject to inspection by the Municipality before replacement is made. Tools lost during the course of work will be replaced only after it is determined appropriate after review by the Municipality and the Union. Upon termination tools will be turned in to the Municipality.
