Hand Tools. The MOA will provide common hand tools of the trade, which the MOA deems necessary to complete the work assigned. The MOA will not be responsible for hand tools personally owned by an employee and used at the employee’s discretion.
Hand Tools. In any case where Trades employees or other employees are required by the Corporation to provide their own hand tools, and where such hand tools are broken as a result of such employees carrying out their required duties and responsibilities in a proper manner, then the Corporation shall pay the cost of replacing such broken hand tools, unless the employee is able to effect replacement without cost under the terms of a guarantee or warranty.
Hand Tools. 1. The UNIVERSITY will continue its past practices of providing or not providing hand tools by craft, department, and/or location. In addition, the UNIVERSITY will make available those tools that are necessary to perform specialized assigned tasks outside of an employee's typical assignment.
Hand Tools. SECTION 1. Journeyman/HVAC Mechanic sheet metal servicemen and apprentices shall be required to provide all necessary basic hand tools required to perform their work. The employer shall provide special tools and instrumentation required to perform service work.

Hand Tools. Employees are personally responsible for the proper care and security of all hand tools provided to them by the Employer for their use on the job. The Employer shall provide replacement hand tools only in cases where normal wear or breakage renders such tools unusable or unsafe.
Hand Tools. Vehicle mechanics will furnish their own hand tools. If such tools are broken, or otherwise rendered unusable, in performance of duty, the Municipality will replace said tools with equal or better quality tools. Such replacement will be made as quickly as possible.

Hand Tools. Hand tools will be provided to the line personnel at the beginning of regular employment. It shall be the responsibility of all line personnel to maintain subject tools in proper working order. Tools will only be replaced by the Municipality when worn out or broken in the performance of duty. Tools requiring such replacement will be subject to inspection by the Municipality before replacement is made. Tools lost during the course of work will be replaced only after it is determined appropriate after review by the Municipality and the Union. Upon termination tools will be turned in to the Municipality.
Hand Tools. 25.1 Where a Maintenance Technician employee's hand tools need to be replaced due to normal wear and tear, or where the Company determines a new hand tool is required in the performance of Company work, the Company shall replace or supply such tool as the case may be at no cost to the employee.
