Guidance Policy. In Falcon Day Care the children who are too young to understand natural consequences will be redirected to an acceptable activity. Older children will be given choices that clearly explain the consequences of their actions. I try and catch children doing something “right” and celebrate their good choices. The technique of “timeout” will be used in the event the child misbehaves. The Provider will use the opportunity to explain why the child’s actions were inappropriate and to give the child time to reflect upon their actions. If a child becomes abusive or poses a danger to the other children, the Provider reserves the right to require immediate pickup and / or terminate this agreement in the interest of safety.

Guidance Policy. When a child is having difficulty with their behavior we will talk with them and offer space and time to calm down if necessary. If children are having trouble with eachother then we will help mediate the situation while letting the children try to work through it themselves. There will be no harsh discipline of any kind.

  • Attendance Policy In order to maximize learning opportunities, attendance is expected at all college and clinical sessions. Campus laboratory classes are usually demonstrations of essential nursing skills. There is no effective way to “make-up” missed laboratory classes, therefore the instructor may require attendance. For all clinical absences, the student must call the clinical setting a minimum of 30 minutes before the scheduled beginning time of the clinical session that will be missed and leave a message for the appropriate instructor. Any exception to this rule will be noted in writing in the individual course syllabus and green sheet. Students who miss more than 10% of the clinical days in a course may not be able to meet course objectives. It is the student’s responsibility to contact the appropriate instructor to determine “make- up” assignments for all absences. If a student has excess absences as defined in a particular course, the student’s status may be reviewed by the nursing faculty. The student may not be able to satisfactorily meet course objectives and may earn a failing grade.

  • Insurance Policies Insurance required herein shall be by companies duly licensed or admitted to transact business in the state where the Premises are located, and maintaining during the policy term a "General Policyholders Rating" of at least B+, V, as set forth in the most current issue of "Best's Insurance Guide", or such other rating as may be required by a Lender. Lessee shall not do or permit to be done anything which invalidates the required insurance policies. Lessee shall, prior to the Start Date, deliver to Lessor certified copies of policies of such insurance or certificates evidencing the existence and amounts of the required insurance. No such policy shall be cancelable or subject to modification except after thirty (30) days prior written notice to Lessor. Lessee shall, at least thirty (30) days prior to the expiration of such policies, furnish Lessor with evidence of renewals or "insurance binders" evidencing renewal thereof, or Lessor may order such insurance and charge the cost thereof to Lessee, which amount shall be payable by Lessee to Lessor upon demand. Such policies shall be for a term of at least one year, or the length of the remaining term of this Lease, whichever is less. If either Party shall fail to procure and maintain the insurance required to be carried by it, the other Party may, but shall not be required to, procure and maintain the same.

  • SUBSTANCE ABUSE POLICY 6.6.1. Labor and Management are committed to providing employees with a drug-free and alcohol-free workplace. It is the goal to protect the health and safety of employees and to promote a productive workplace, and protect the reputation of Labor and Management and the employees.

  • Payment Policy All Meal Plan charges are billed to the student’s OPUS account each semester. Meal plan costs for the Fall Semester are submitted to the Student Financial Services during August; Spring Semester meal plan costs are submitted during December. The Meal Plan contract remains in effect for the entire academic year and cancellation is not permitted. Departure from Emory: Unspent Xxxxxx Dollars will be credited back to the student’s OPUS account for all meal plans. Adjustments for the meals portion of meal plans is based on the duration or total weeks enrolled on the meal plan, not the actual meal plan usage. The credit for the meals portion of all meal plans will be calculated by first subtracting the value of the Xxxxxx Dollars originally included in the meal plan from the original cost of the meal plan to determine the value of the meals portion of the meal plan. Next, the value of the meals portion of the meal plan will be credited back to the student’s account based on the Adjustment Schedule. No credit will be issued after the tenth week of each semester. No credit will be issued to students suspended or dismissed for disciplinary reasons. If a student’s academic status changes, the student is responsible for notifying Campus Dining in Xxx Xxxx at 000-000-0000 or email xxxxxx@xxxxx.xxx. This policy shall be subject to amendment by the University during the term of this agreement without notice.
