Guaranteed Admission. A. UMGC shall accept eligible students (“eligible students”) who have attended or graduated from the accredited CC with an associate degree, if the students complete and submit UMGC’s application for admission, have met UMGC’s admission criteria, and are not otherwise disqualified by federal or state law, or any policy of UMGC or the University System of Maryland (“USM”). Guaranteed Admission. Students who receive an Associate of Arts, Education Pre-Major, from Madison College will be guaranteed admission to Edgewood College when students transfer directly from Madison College to Edgewood College within 5 years of completing the Associate of Arts Degree Education Pre-Major. Students who take coursework at another institution between the completion of their coursework at Madison College and their transfer to Edgewood College must meet Edgewood College's transfer student admissions requirements of a cumulative GPA of 2.0 in all college-level coursework. Students must also meet posted admission deadlines. Students who present a cumulative GPA of 2.75 with a completed Associate of Arts Degree, Education Pre-Major will be offered guaranteed admission at Junior status into the Elementary Education program at Edgewood College.
Guaranteed Admission. In recognition of Holy Spirit High School’s academically rigorous college preparatory curriculum that exceeds the minimum core requirements of a high school education and earns high college placement of its graduates, Georgian Court University (GCU) and Holy Spirit High School (HSHS) enter into this Guaranteed Admissions Agreement to facilitate the seamless enrollment of HSHS students to GCU upon earning their high school diploma. Under this agreement, HSHS students will be guaranteed admission into GCU as a full‐time matriculated student on the condition they: • graduate from HSHS with an earned high school diploma; • earn a minimum GPA of 2.50 or better (students with GPAs below 2.50 will be reviewed on an individual basis); • score 900 or better on the SAT (critical reading and math) or a 19 or better on the ACT (students with SAT scores below 900 or ACT scores below 19 will be reviewed on an individual basis); and • satisfy all other admissions application requirements. In accordance with the terms and condition of this Guaranteed Admissions Agreement, GCU will: • waive the undergraduate admission application fee; • provide on‐site personal admissions advisement for prospective students and parents; • provide on‐site general college search and financial aid workshops and presentations; and • award competitive academic and partnership scholarships to qualified HSHS students. Partnership Scholarships Georgian Court University will provide institutional academic and merit scholarships to qualified Holy Spirit High School graduates. These scholarships are renewable for four years, provided the student remains a full‐time student and maintains Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) as defined by the University. When a scholarship is awarded, GCU will inform the student what the SAP requirements will be to ensure renewal. In accordance with the terms and condition of this agreement, GCU will award a combination of academic and merit scholarships for the 2017–2018 academic year based on the following guidelines. Guaranteed Admission. Each DAP student will be offered a guaranteed admission to Xxxxxx College provided they meet all requirements identified above.
Guaranteed Admission. Students from Dallas College, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale and a minimum of 12 semester credit hours entering under the terms of this Agreement, are guaranteed admission in the CTX. Students from Dallas College who meet the general admission requirements of CTX with a completed Core Curriculum, Associate of Arts, Associate of Arts in Teaching, or Associate of Science degree, will receive guaranteed admission to CTX. While admission to CTX does not guarantee admission to all degree granting programs, majors, minors or fields of concentration, incoming Dallas College transfer students shall be able to compete for admission to specific programs on the same basis as students native to the CTX.
