GRIEVANCE STAGE - STEP 2. (a) Complaint Submitted to Management Should a complaint be unresolved at Step 1, the complaint may be submitted by the Union Xxxxxxx or Union Representative in writing to the appropriate management representative, no later than thirty (30) calendar days after the employee was notified verbally or in writing, or she first became aware of the action or circumstance giving rise to the grievance, with a copy to the Human Resources Department. Such submission may be undertaken without first proceeding through Step 1.
