Common use of Grievance Definitions Clause in Contracts

Grievance Definitions. A claim by a certificated employee that there has been an event which is a violation, misinterpretation or misapplication of any provision of this Agreement may be processed as a grievance as described below. The grievance shall address itself to the specific provision(s) of the Agreement that is alleged to have been violated, misinterpreted, or misapplied. The purpose of this grievance procedure is to secure at the lowest possible administrative level a fair solution to grievances of certificated employees.
