Grievance Definition and Filing Deadline. A grievance is defined as a complaint by an Employee or the Association that there has been a violation of a specific provision of this Contract. In the event an Employee or the Association believes that there has been such a violation by the Board or Administration, the Employee or the Association shall initiate the following procedure no later than the twentieth (20th) working day following the first occurrence of the alleged violation or no later than the twentieth (20th) working day after the Employee or the Association, through the use of reasonable diligence, obtained or should have obtained knowledge of the first occurrence of the alleged violation.
