Common use of Green Waste Clause in Contracts

Green Waste. ‘Green Waste’ means non-contaminated material composed of organic matter or plant matter which is the result of seasonal variations or landscape and gardening activities. Green waste includes, without limitation, grass clippings, shrubbery, leaves, tree trimmings, branches, flowers, plant stalks, wood and other plant material. Green Waste does not include stumps or branches exceeding six inches (6") in diameter or four feet (4') in length.

Green waste includesresidential landscapes including, without limitationbut not limited to, grass yard clippings, shrubbery, leaves, tree trimmings, branchesprunings, flowersbrush, plant stalksand weeds as well as green waste. Tree stumps and limbs greater than three (3) inches in diameter are excluded unless they are reduced to a chipped form; otherwise, wood and other plant material. such large portions of Green Waste does not include stumps or branches exceeding six inches (6") in diameter or four feet (4') in lengthshall be considered Bulky Waste.
