Graduated Retirement. The University or an APT member who holds a permanent appointment may request a graduated retirement arrangement. A graduated retirement arrangement would include a reduction in duties to fifty per cent (50%) of full-time duties. The maximum duration of this arrangement will be two (2) years, on the understanding that the APT member would retire at the conclusion of the agreed upon term. The University and the APT member can mutually agree upon other arrangements that meet the needs of the University and the APT member.
