Graduate Teaching. “Graduate teaching” shall mean teaching a course that shall have been designated a graduate course by the President or his/her designee.

Graduate Teaching. A FACULTY MEMBER who teaches graduate courses shall have the following considered a maximum full workload in any academic term beyond which overload shall be paid:
Graduate Teaching. Assistants required to use new technology as part of their normal work duties (e.g. Web CT) shall be provided with access to appropriate facilities and equipment.

  • Teaching Assistants 1. All Teaching Assistants shall receive the same remuneration per base unit and the difference between the amount paid a Graduate Teaching Assistant and other Teaching Assistants is an associated scholarship. See XIII D. for appropriate compensation.

  • Summer Students a) Summer Students shall not be employed while Employees on Seniority List A or B are on lay off in their respective trades.

  • DISCIPLINE OF TEACHERS A. The Board may adopt rules and regulations not in conflict with the terms of this Agreement concerning the discipline of teachers.

  • Training a. The employer, in consultation with the local, shall be responsible for developing and implementing an ongoing harassment and sexual harassment awareness program for all employees. Where a program currently exists and meets the criteria listed in this agreement, such a program shall be deemed to satisfy the provisions of this article. This awareness program shall initially be for all employees and shall be scheduled at least once annually for all new employees to attend.

  • Training Assistance (a) Employees shall be reimbursed for one hundred percent (100%) of the tuition for job-related courses approved by the Employer.

  • TEACHING HOURS AND TEACHING LOAD A. As professionals, teachers are expected to devote to their assignments the time necessary to meet their responsibilities, but they shall not be required to “clock in or clock out” by hours and minutes. Teachers shall indicate their presence for duty by placing their signature and time in the proper column of the faculty “sign-in” roster.
